Only my wallet and finances dictate how many guns I own---political and economic climate have been dictating what types of guns--which has been turning decidedly more tactical in the last year and a half or so.

The NRA has disappointed me continually, they need to get away from their "sporting purposes" and just go hard-core on "shall not be infringed", as far as I'm concerned.

I don't buy guns because of the NRA, I don't belong to the NRA because of the guns I own (I am a member, just not impressed).
I think next year GOA or another, more rabidly pro-self-defense organization will be getting my membership money, the NRA might or might not.

I bought guns before becoming an NRA member, so they have not had any influence on past or future purchase.

The support with the NRA is a two way street, they support us and we support they!

I too joined the NRA is because it's requirement to join my local range. That totally sucks because I think my yearly donation to the NRA might be better served in a organization not so reserved. Politics have def affected how many I have bought. So much so I'm ready to move to a red state! Voted no!

Aw, you hurt Eddie's feelings.

I won a Kimber model 84 rifle at a Friends of the NRA benefit dinner a few years ago, so I guess it is safe to say that NRA contributed to my ownership of at least one additional gun.

My vote is that the NRA has influenced me to own more guns.

In the mid-90's, during the Clinton Gun Ban, I owned my duty gun, and my off duty gun, plus a Marlin model 60 .22 rifle. That was it. When congress passed and Clinton signed the AWB, I woke up and saw what was going down.

Previously a registered independent who always voted conservative, Clinton's anti-gun agenda caused me to do two things; Register as a Republican, and become an NRA Life Member, contributing $ to both. I now own 3 safes filled with guns and ammo, including semi-automatic sports utility rifles.

Oh, I am back to being a registered independent, but still in the NRA for Life.

The republicans will have to re-earn my trust. Until then, I'll keep my $.

not that the NRA had anything to do with it, but I have made purchases since joining back with the NRA..

think it was just more along the lines that I found good deals..

Gun owner, DEFIANTLY NOT due to the NRA.

The fact that you own a gun at all is reason enough to thank your lucky stars that the NRA has been there for over a century protecting your Second Amendment rights. You can rail from the sidelines all you want but the real work to safe guard your RTKBA is being done every day by NRA folks in the trenches-and, frankly, some of us are getting a little tired of carrying the water for gun-owning NRA detractors who apparently have nothing else to do but criticize the work of the committed. Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves.
I hope to see a contingency of THR Freedom Fighters at the NRA Convention in Charlotte on the weekend of May 14th. God bless America. :)
