As pmeisel has already said,I have too many friends,family and neighbors to name that have given their lives to protect our freedoms,not the least of which is the Second Amendment. Without their sacrifices we would not be on this forum today. A reverent salute from a grateful heart to them all.
I couldn't BEGIN to express my overwhelming support and sorrow for the men and women (and their families) who've sacrificed SO much for our country! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

May GOD BLESS all of our veterans, who have answered the call too duty;

Special rememberance: U.S. Army Specialist 4th class Ronnie V. Rogers
of Fairfield, AL [Feb. 16th 1947 - Jan. 5th 1971] killed in the crash of an
AH-1G Cobra Attack Helicopter into The South China Sea, Military Region #1.
As we celebrate Memorial day and the freedoms we share,not the least of which is the Right to keep and bear arms, let's take a minute to consider the cost.
To all of you who have served honorably in our armed forces THANK YOU! Your sacrifices are not forgotten. I was never in the military,but am humbled by the depth of devotion displayed on behalf of our nation by those who serve under the stars and stripes.
We especially remember those who never returned,the ones who daily bear the physical and mental scars of war,and those who today are serving far from home.
Thank you .You make us all proud.
We all owe a debt of gratitude to those who've served to maintain our nation's freedom. To all those who served in combat, you have my deepest respect.
When I got back to the states in 1969,I got welcomed with f... you and lots of spit. The Officer in charge would not let us retaliate. Great welcome back then!! Now their our leaders.
