How do you conceal it?
Why do you choose the full size for CC vs. a compact model?

I carry a g21sf, its not to hard with the right holster & shirt, I use a don hume IWB and a size larger shirt to keep it hid, ..I choose a full size gun for the better sight picture and a little less recoil then a compact.

I have been working a Glock 17 into my carry rotation. While it is slightly more difficult to conceal I feel that the benefit of the larger grip is worth it. I am much more confident getting a good hold on the 17 during the draw than I am a 26 (even with the grip extension). Accuracy is very close, for me with the G17 having a slight edge. Capacity of course is better with the 17 but is really only a minimal advantage in my mind.

Overall confidence level with the various pistols in my rotation is as follows:

1. Glock 17 / Springfield XD .45 Compact
2. Glock 26
3. S&W M60 - .38 Special
4. Ruger LCP

I wish I could conceal a full framed anything, I have too small a frame except for compacts/subcompacts and even they show.

No.
Prefer a M&P .40 compact. Better ergonomics, and smaller than a FS gun. 10+1 .40 in such a small, sexy package, is hard to beat.

I can only carry a 19. A 17 (or similar) is just too much for me/my size. I'm 5' 9" and about 145lbs. My 19 disappears in my Comp-Tac Minotaur though. I love that holster.

Ill let you know when I finaly get my Talon IWB holster for my G20SF from Alessi :banghead:

I have seen some really nice cut down glocks recently. i.e. a 17 with a handle cut down to 19 length, or 19 cut down to 26. That way you have the sight picture of the larger gun, and the concealability of the smaller gun. Also, in a jam you can use a wider variety of glock mags. I think I am going to go this route with the next glock I get.

Larger shirt

IWB holster with LOTS of forward cant (too much is bad since the back of your pants will exert pressure, causing the gun to rock back when you sit or lean forward).

Split loops for stability

Solid gun belt

Flush magazine in the gun

IWB mag holder

Don't draw attention to the gun!

I carry a G17 all of time.

Between my 'forgiving' frame structure and a loose outer shirt (either 'T' or 'dress') I can comfortably do so all year round.

Just have to dress accordingly.

I EDC a G22 in a slightly modified Uncle Mike's IWB. I usually wear an untucked dress shirt. Kind of the in thing to do now days anyway. I can hide it under certain t-shirts, but some aren't cut right for it.

I wouldn't mind carrying a compact model Glock, but got a good deal on this one and so I use it. It isn't that hard to carry, and I can shoot it really well, which is ultimately what matters. If you can't shoot it, why carry it?

+ a big 1 but I also carry my full sized M&P occasionally. Either way it's comfortable.

I have a S&W Sigma .40 (full size) in a Bianchi OWB belt slide holster (actually made for a Glock 20 but it fits nice) that has about 25 degrees of forward cant... that under a short sleeved button down (think hawaiian shirts) or a polo size large. I'm 5'7" and 155 lbs or so.

Glock 21 100% of the time. Owb with a fobus and a large t-shirt. Conceals just fine and sometimes I just put it in the back of my pants if I'm just walking to the store.

how you dress is really important along. Along with your holster choice. I don't conceal a Glock, but I do carry a XD40 Service daily in a Crossbreed Supertuck.

I carry a 4" XD 45, IWB. I've got the compact, but I've decided I prefer to carry with the full size mag. It's summertime now, so I'm only covering it with an untucked polo shirt. It definitely prints. You won't miss it if you're looking for it.
But nobody is looking for it. People don't pay attention to that sort of thing. So no one has noticed it, afaik. I could conceal it better with looser shirts... not that I really care either way.
In the winter months when I'm wearing a couple more layers, it conceals just fine on my 6'2", 230lbs frame.

i can and have concealed my glock 22 with only a t-shirt in the summer, but most of the time i jsut dont feel like it. i get hot and sweaty and just dont want to put up with the extra weight so i usually carry my glock 27.

once fall and winter roll around i will be carrying my glock 22 almost all the time.
