Just a couple...

Started as a C&R, too badly abused since 1941 to restore, so:

This one fared better:

Grips make a difference:

1912 Steyr-Hahn pics coming one of these days...

Its a C&R but not quite an antique: Third Model Iver Johnson Hammerless Safety
leftcoinupload.jpg

It handles like a Smith Safety Hammerless but is not quite as accurate. Has a 25 thousanths" b/c gap and the .38 S&W factory loads lob out at 550 fps.Still, perfect bore and chambers, completely tight and uses all coil piano wire springs.

Made in USA, a model 1907 Savage .32 auto pistol, dating from 1909. She's a honey, and shoots like one too.

Here's a "newer" Ortgies .32caliber poclet pistol

Another American handgun, a colt Police Positive .38spl from 1922 (sold it)

Another German, from between the wars. A Walther model 4:

Thanks to Sven.

And the attachment is my Shansei Arsenal .45 ACP Broomhandle Mauser, taken with a phone-camera just to try it out. Lousy composition, but not a bad pic for a phone.
