North American Arms has just announced pre-orders for its new .22 magnum top break revolver:

Very cool. My only gripe about these little wheelguns has been addressed. I did not like having to remove the cylinder to load them. One of these should be found in my safe within the next year or so.

I just sent the company, about a month ago, an e-mail asking if they could revive the top break concept or the .32 revolvers like Smith & Wesson's early models.

Interesting development that I had not heard of before.

The Doc is out now.

Are you going to make them with longer barrels?

4 1/4" would be nice for the Canadian market...

Looks very cool, I may need to purchase one. I wonder what they will cost after that first prototypical batch of 500 pieces. $500 seems a little steep.

OOoooooooOOooooooooo....

I still want larger calibers, in frames reinforced enough to overcome the innate weakness of the hinge and latch.

It's a start though. it'll go well with my Taylors Schofield ^^

Five hunnerd bones. Ouch.

If quick reloads are a concern, I could buy two of the standard mini revolvers for less than the price of this one. That way, when I run the cylinder dry, I simply grab for the next gun and forget reloading.

Ouch. I hadn't looked at the price tag when I first posted. $500.:what:
Unless the price drops after the prototype batch, I will have to take a pass.

I would also like to see it in .32 ACP, with a 3" or 4" barrel. Heck, I'd be delighted if they scaled up the Mini Master to .32 ACP. What a great little trail pistol that would make!

All my best,
Dirty Bob

$500 for a .22 mouse gun?

No thanks.

I don't mind paying $500 for something like a distributor custom .22 Ruger Single-Six Bisley, but for a little mouse gun?

I have an NAA Mini and like it a lot. But to me, it isn't a $500 gun.

I've got the Companion B/p 22 and it's a hoot, and the top break looks great, but not $500 great. For that I could get another Blackhawk .

Someone start pining away, and write the gun companies about how badly you would like to see a brand-new production of Broomhandle Mausers next please. I want to be able to shoot one without feeling bad for the parts.

I throw my hat in with those who want a 32 ACP..

in this design or a double action design.

Ya and keep it under 500 bucks......

Price it ~$175 and offer it in a .22lr and I'll almost have to have one. For the minimal gain you get with the mag vs LR in that bbl length, I'd rather have the cheaper and more plentiful LR ammo.

Nice gun, but I wouldn't pay that much for it. I have less than that in my two NAA .22 magnums, and have one for each front pocket.

Agree that it's a cool gun, also agree the price is too high. I've got both a LR and a Mag model of the mini's and would buy this one too if it were priced more realistically. I was really looking forward to the .32 model they scrapped.
