I don't have any photos stored in this computer, so that will have to come later. If we are including 3" guns, my most notable snubby, due to its rarity, is a 3" GP100 with adjustable sights, which is my avatar on another forum. Admittedly, it is a safe queen for now.
My working snubbies are SP101s, which have ridden in everything from Alessi Ankle Holsters to an Andrews Monarch shoulder rig, but usually at belt level in Sparks PMK holsters, Galco Concealables, or Kramer or Haugen crossdraw holsters, and latter normally used for appendix-position carry, not in the crossdraw position. To be clear, I wear one gun faithfully in the "strong" side hip position, but the secondary will rove around a bit, depending upon clothing; yes, I often tote two handguns.
In the past, I used J-frames more, and regrettably, many were traded away before I learned better than to do that. I still have an "M460" enclosed-hammer J-frame, made when many Performance Center guns were given their own model numbers, and a no-dash M40. Yes, I like my Centennials.
My first snubby, now long gone, was a 1983-ish S&W Model 60. Like many of the Bangor Punta-era guns, it was not well put-together, which turned me off to J-frames for several years.
My second snubby was a Model 66, acquired in 1984 as part of a special deal for police academy cadets, along with my Model 686 duty sixgun. A rather rough gun, it didn't stay around long, either.
My most unusual snubby was an S&W Model 25-2 Effector, in .45 ACP, part of a special run made for distributor/dealer John Jovino in the mid-1980's. This was before I realized that N-frames are really too big for my hands; I could never shoot it fast and well in double-action mode. This one was sold or traded away long ago.
