What is the last gun that you bought?

Rossi 971 . 357, stainless 4 inch. Traded my sigma that I bought on an impulse. So far I love this thing. Will soon add a either a ruger or taurus in .357 or .44, haven't decided yet.

2 weeks ago Wednesday, I bought an HK45C. Beautiful .45 ACP piece. I have ran about 250 rounds through it thus far and so far so good. I could not be happier with this marvel of modern engineering. The gunsmith at a different gun shop in my town asked to see it when I stopped in to guy some ammo there. We spent 45 minutes talking about guns and how much he wanted my new toy! Great job HK!

This past Saturday I stopped at LGS to see if he still had the S&W 39-2 that I had spotted a couple of weeks ago. Sad to say it wasn't in the display case so I asked to see a s&w CS45 he had. He gave it to me and I was surprised that he was only asking $365 for one in this good of condition.

I told the owner that I had really stopped to look at the 39 I had seen before and he said I think I still have it, a guy had asked him to hold it for two days and he would be back but never showed up. He brought the 39-2 out and told me I could buy it for $325 if I bought it today. Now I was torn between the cs45 at $365 and the 39-2 at $325! As I stood there trying to decide the owner told me that he would make me a two fer deal, $675 OTD for both.

Needless to say I am now the proud owner of both a S&W CS45 and a S&W model 39-2.:D:D:D:D

Just added to the "wheelgun" collection.... Went on my usual scouting trip to a few LGS for "security/service 6's", and fell in love with a barely used GP-100 (6.5" in .357). I had to whip up another "dangling target" that afternoon to try it out on. Our machine shop had a 1 1/4" thick disc of medical stainless 7 1/2" in diameter that is now supported in a portable stand with a few pieces of 3/8" chain.... Great fun!

Just got an HK45C. BTW, should the barrel be a bit "wobbly" when the slide locks back?
Yep, as long as there isn't too much play it is fine. The USP Mk. 23, USP Expert, and Tactical variants fix that "problem" (not really a problem, just slightly degraded accuracy) with a barrel bushing.

:)

I got a Firestar Plus, with the starvel finish, in 9mm. I've been looking for one for awhile but most were priced higher then I wanted to spend. I got this one for $275. I've had it out with a couple different kinds of ammo, including Brown Bear steel case 115gr. and it's been accurate and trouble free. They're nice little guns.

Pictures as promised

Here are the pictures of the CS45 and the 39-2 as promised plus the Bodyguard 380 I bought back in January.:neener::neener:

this is the HK45c from last week.

I was getting and error uploading pics to THR via my MacBook using Safari. Weird. I had to use my iPhone pics instead. Just wanted to pass these pics of my new toys on. Went to the range again today and put 50 rounds through the Glock 36 then about 60 more through the HK45c. Neither weapon has FTF or FTE one time. Both of these are very well designed and use high quality parts and are very accurate. I recommend both highly.

Once I realized I didnt need another EBR in .223 I ordered a Savage Axis in .243 and a Pardner Pump 12g in black!

Assuming that shipping of firearms needs to be done via UPS or Fedex my FFL will have them this week!
