Anyone have the process for "normal" take down of a Raven 25 ACP? Just acquired one, no mag / no manual ...

TIA,

gpa mitch

1)Dry fire.

2)Press the retainer on the rear of the slide with a pencil eraser or similar object and pull the slide back and up.

Beat me to it, The little button on the back has a hook on it that points rearward and u gata get it off the little pin and the whole thing raises up

thanks!!!

Ah - great, thanks folks. Knew it would be simple ... Getting it back together was a bit tricky too - but just a matter of patience and coordination.

Got two mags in today , Triple K's from Cheaper than Dirt. One goes in and out just fine, the other wants to stay & needs, um, coaxing, to remove.

Tomorrow we'll see how she does in the back yard range .

Mitch,

Thanks again !

Step 1. Take your Raven to the range. Step 2. Shoot 50 rounds. Step 3. Congratulations! Your Raven should now be fully disassembled. :D :D :D
Seriously, what REAPER said is spot on, but I just had to.

GPA Mitch, let us know how the new mags work out. I have a raven that I got as "boot" on a car trade almost 40 years ago and while it is certainly no Kimber it is the one little automatic that I have that has never failed (yet, knock on wood).
