What calibers do you shoot?

Why do I carry a .45? 'cause they don't make a .46

They do now, it is the 460 Rowland (power ~44 mag.) Brownells sells a kit to convert a quality .45 to 460. It is an acceptable deer round.

For hand guns:
.22lr, .25acp, .380acp, 9mm, .38sp, .357Mag, 357SIG, .40S&W, .45acp

For long guns:

I still want the .44MAG...... :banghead:

Lateck,

Just 9mm Luger, .40 S&W & .380 ACP at the moment. I'm trying to keep the caliber variety in my collection limited until I start reloading in a couple of years, but I may let .22 in the dooor when the new S&W M&P .22 pistol comes out later this year.

holy rounds batman! some of you ladies and gents must have one heck of an ammo den lol - I try to limit my calibers carried currently 38+p, 40sw, 45acp in handguns, long-guns .223, 30-06, and 12 guage. I used to carry a lot of 9mm platform firearms but after the 40sw came out I switched and never looked back.

.22LR, .22WMR, .22 Hornet, .380 Auto, 9mm Luger, .38 Special, .357 Magnum, .44 Russian, .44 Special, .45 Colt, .223 Remington/5.56mm, .30-06, and 12 ga. Reloading makes the centerfire cartridges affordable for me.

If I had to cut back, I could probably get by with only .22LR, 9mm Luger, .44 Special, .30-06, and 12 ga. But why?

I have finally settled on four (technically five):

.380 in my pocket (LCP)
.40 S&W on my belt (XD Service)
.45 in the safe (my Colt 1911, which I am babying and shooting sparingly to save as an heirloom pistol for my son)

and

.38/.357 as I got a Black Friday steal on a Rossi 3" revolver I could not resist. Didn't need it, but why not?!

Long guns?
.22
20 gauge
12 gauge
