Just wanted to say that midway customer service is pretty damn good. I bought one of their tumblers at a gunshow 4 years ago(is actually says midway, not frankford arsenal) and a few weeks ago one of the wires sheered out of the motor. I sent it back to them($9 s&h) an they replaced it with a new one. Just like that. Took alittle over a week before I was producing shiny brass again.:)

They're a good company to deal with. I'm gonna try to use them exclusively from now on. They don't rob you on shipping either. I bought a magazine last week from Cheaper than Dirt, and they charged me $10 to ship it? It probably cost them $4 at the most. A lot of online companies do that, and I think it's dishonest.

Dan, you really think their prices are high?? I buy most stuff from them these days (dealer discount, granted) with good prices, and quick delivery.

I buy most of my reloading supplies from Midway. I do shop around for the best prices I can find on the net. Midway is hard to beat when you figure in their fair shipping prices.

Midway

I enjoy working with the folks at Midway . I enjoyed it more when:1) they had a monthly catalog instead of a flyer. 2) The monthly specials were really special. 3) the shipping was included in the listed price. All in all they are a good company to work with but I have placed more orders with Natchez since Midway made their changes.

I just ordered one of the new Lee Cast Iron single stage presses from Midway. There service has always been good; prices are okay, not the lowest or the highest but they have always been accurate in stating what is in stock and what isn't in stock. Odessa

When I ordered from Natchez, I found their shipping rates inexcusably high. Then again, CtD semed to have reasonable rates. I guess things have changed. With shippig costs going up, local seems once again the way to go...

Second what Odessa says about Midway's accuracy about what's in stock and what isn't. I recently placed orders both with Midway and Bose's Guns. the Midway order arrived in a few days, but the Bose's Guns order is labeled "waiting for products" on their website. Yet everything I ordered was labeled availalbe. Bose's seem like nice guys, but they seem to be conduits to manufacturers, with little inventory of their own. Very low prices, to be sure, especially on Lee and Hornady. But for most things there isn't enough of a savings to make up for the long wait and the uncertain availability. I'll stick with Midway (and Cheaper Than Dirt, which has been pretty good, too.).

I haven't ordered from Natchez in a couple of years. You know how people say you can "hear a smile on the other end of the line?" At Natchez, I could hear a snarl.
