Here is something else to worry about.

RFID stands for radio frequency identification. RFID tags are miniscule microchips that listen for a radio query and respond by transmitting their unique ID code. Most RFID tags have no batteries: They use the power from the initial radio signal to transmit their response. Any item including firearms that has one of these chips can be detected and tracked.

See for yourself:

This technology has tremendous potential for abuse. How long will it be before all new guns will be required to have an RFID chip imbedded in the frame?

There will be no such thing as a concealed weapon anymore, not even in your car or home. The authorities will know where your guns are all the time.

You think that you will just remove or deactivate the chip?

If these things become required by federal law, removing them will probably become a felony no different than removing the governments current tracking system, the serial number.

How easy would gun confiscation be if every gun had a homing device?

Just something else to worry about for those of us who value liberty.
