Hey everyone
Post a pic of your bow and type compound, recurve, long. And tell what it is and model. If you want add pics of game you got with them.

Custom recurve built in the 70's, or some time in the recent past.
Shoots great. Very accurate and smooth. I shoot 2219's with Zwickey Eskimos through deer and large game, and judos at varmints.

Awsome job on your Quiver !! Looks great !! Kinda wish Id stayed trad. But got the speed bug and have been chasing it ever sence. Take care Pat C.

Jason G,

No I'm not the bowyer. These are from Lukas Novotny, salukibow.com

I can't even make a decent copy of these bows, way above my skill level.

Hopefully one of his horn bows will be in my future.

They are nice. Went and looked at his website. Seems like they advertise(d) in Traditional Bowhunter? I know I remember the name of the company from somewhere. Maybe it was someone else on here, I just don't remember now. They're pretty.

I think he advertises in TBM but I'm not sure.

Right now it's a 12 month wait for a wood bow and 2 - 3 years for a horn bow.

My Saluki's are the fastest trad bows I've ever owned or shot but they definitely take more practice to shoot accurately.

The Ibex will be my main elk bow in September and and old Sky recurve for backup.

Your Hunter is a sharp looking bow. I have an older Mamba but prefer the Hunter's any day.

Im Shooting A PSE X Force Tree Stand 60lbs 302fps on the conney. Not a pretty bow, but quik. I have one budy that is hard core Trad. and teaches building self bows and shooting of them. He naps broud heads and the hole nine yds!! My cuzz rages on me about my rifle with wheels, He shoots a Brackinberry. You should have seen his face when he shot one of my carbons out of it!! Pat C.

Thanks. I bought it thinking I would shoot it for a while, and then upgrade to a Black Widow, but I really like the bow. Shoots well, and is pretty quiet.

Nice bows everyone. I'll post a picture of mine in a few weeks, and hopefully it is leaning up against a nice 8 point with me in the background!!!!

Some eye candy....

My oldest with his Hoyt GameMaster II , middle son with his Bowtech Diamond Cutter , and also our practice target on the side of the house , just a 25 yard single lane ( we do have plywood panels that go in place to protect the sliding door on the shop ).

Some of those recurves are gorgeous, especially the one in the first picture. What would something like those run?

I have the first bow I ever had made for me, a 1968 Groves Archery Magnum, it's a 45lb recurve. I'll post pics of it tomorrow.

I also have the best compound bow I ever picked up or shot, a older High Country 4 runner, it is 65~80lb and is such a great bow I can't shoot multiple arrows at the same place or end up Robin Hooding expensive carbon arrows.

I also have a Larry Nirk recurve longbow, but unfortunately it has started to de-laminate, which is sad since it is such a nice bow. My very first bow was a Bear Kodiak Hunter which was a beautiful bow but I sold it to get a Browning that was even nicer. I wish I would have been able to keep them both because they were both excellent quality beautiful bows made in the late 60s early 70s and superb quality. I bought my Groves in 1968 when I was 10 from Grovers Archery lanes which was a local NM Boyer here in Albuquerque. They made it to my specs and measurements, a real hand made custom bow I am lucky to still have! It is now 43 years old and still shoots great!!!
