The Tucson Rifle Range has a public part and a members only section.
We started at the Smallbore range to shoot the .22s and then moved to the Pistol silhouette range. We got there just as a group was leaving and then had it all to ourselves!

AzTrex, the only time I had a range to myself it was cold, raining and SRO was going to close up. December in Florida and the fog was settling into the pit the range was dug in the side of a hill. 23 years in FL and that is the only time.

Good story to hear! I've always gone out of my way to teach women and girls how to shoot. A lot of the anti-gunners are women, but women who like guns might convert some of the others. My grandma taught me and my brother how to shoot.
Being the "Gun Guy" amongst our group of family and friends, I say: good job! For a long while the younger ones were showing very interest in shooting---that has changed as the nephews and various friends have gotten bigger. I find myself teaching numerious younger folk---it's fun and any excuse to go blasting is good with me. Keep the sport of shooting alive---involve new shooters young and old!
