Got the old 1300... how's this look to you?

Thread with the story.

Got the 1300 today... it sure looks like it's spent time under the counter! This is the condition I got it out of the box.

What do you think? It actually looks pretty nice in natural light... and the action is very smooth.

Looks like I'm in for a takedown, decent Break-free CLP application, check of mag spring... what's very good is that the documents of the gun were still with it. The very well-illustrated manual was even translated in understandable Finnish!

It's hard to tell O/A condition from the pics, they're in extreme close up on this monitor. However, it looks pretty good except for that slight rust on the barrel band and mag tip.

A deep clean and lube is called for. Then, run maybe 200 rounds through it. Chances are this has never been fired or only fired a few times.

A manual in Finnish? Now there's a rarity.
 
I'll be giving it a run for the money by next week. Looks good so far, the little rust is coming off with just a swipe of CLP.
