What revolver do you carry

I'm a reformed "bottom-feeder" guy. I've had 1911's, Glock, CZ, Rugers, Brownings. Since getting my CCP it's strictly revolvers--snubbies-- for reasons too numerous to go into.
Most of the time it's a 642 in a Sparks pocket holster but, depending on my mood and the circumstances, it could be a D Special, Cobra, Agent, Chief, 49, LCR, 2" Model 10 or a 327 PC.

WC145 that 9mm is what i want made except internal hammer with no lock
does it feed and extract well? if so why wont smith and wesson make it?
I guess S&W doesn't feel there is a demand. I've spoken to their reps before and even showed them my gun but no dice.

I have no problems with cases sticking and it's a great shooter, no difference in accuracy from shooting .38s to shooting 9mms. The cylinder is actually cut to 9x23 so in addition to 9mm I can also shoot .38 Super, 9x21, 356TSW, 9mm Largo, .38ACP, 9x23, etc.

Get your hands on a scandium framed Centennial with a steel cylinder and send the cylinder to Pinnacle High Performance, they'll fix you up.

The SP101 has been my most-carried weapon since the late 1990s, as a secondary weapon while in police uniform, and primary or secondary off the clock. Actually, as I own several of them, there have been times I carried two or even three at the same time. These wear their factory grips. Two have been lightly customized by Jack Weigand, with his Tame the Beast package, but not ported. (Jack Weigand no longer does custom 'smithing, but Gemini Customs still does this type of work.)

My next-most carried revolver is my 4" S&W Model 19. As much as I like custom wooden stocks, this is a working sixgun, and wears quite plain-Jane Uncle Mike's rubber boot grips.

When I want to carry heavy iron, I have several GP100 sixguns, all wearing the original, pre-Hogue factory Ruger grips, which seem to have been designed by a long-lost twin, from whom I was separated at birth.

As for posting photos here, even though one of my job titles is photographer, and I take digital photos that are used as evidence in court, I am totally ignorant of how to make digital images appear on-line. The proprietary upload
system I use at work, for digital image evidence, is totally different from anything used in the "civilian" context, and such things as image hosting are total mysteries to me.

I have carried a M38 for a while. I replaced it with a 642. I replaced that with my current carry an LCR. of course I prefer to carry my revolvers in a pocket so I'm probably going back to a j frame. I shoot my lcr quite well its just a little bigger than my j frames. I guess my next decision is is there enough difference between a 60 and a 637 to matter?

Carry revolver about 15% of the time. usually model 10 Smith for concealed carry. I have a model 65 stainless which has been heavily worn (bought it that way) I carry in the woods or if I am going to be out in the weather.

LCR

Mostly carry LCR .357, sometimes Springfield armory 1911 .45 ACP TRP.

.45 colt Schofield replica with Silvertip 225 gr., not often till the final child is potty trained. The M&P gets *that* abuse.

Wow, Compadre! Where do you plug-in that shirt? (Nice Schofield!! - Had to put on the sunglasses so I could focus on the pistola)

This is the one that's ALWAYS in my pocket . . . a nice, vintage, pinned barrel Model 37 Airweight . . .

In my little "travel bag" goes my chopped barrel S&W 25-2 in moon-clipped .45ACP. Once in the car it is my car gun. Once I've gotten to my destination it goes with me in the bag again. Different types of ammo for different reasons . . .

There are others I carry in belt holsters when I can, and they vary based on the season . . . Kimber CDP Ultra compact .45ACP, Model 36, a 3" barreled Model 65, a high cap Para LDA Limited, the 25-2 pictured above. USUALLY though, I prefer my Smith revolvers over autos . . . I simply shoot them better in competition.

This is in my pocket at work and on my belt when I'm not. At work it backs up my Glock 22; off duty it backs up either my three inch S&W Model 13-3 or my four inch S&W Model 10-5 or both.:D:D

ECS

PS. Yes, I know it's loaded. It's always loaded. It's too light to be a club and too pretty to be a door stop.

:D Best CCW/OC shirts EVER . :D

Search for Hilo Hattie's (the originators of these retina-searing shirts) or Aloha Republic.

The effect is as desired, you'll be so focused on the hula girls or parrots you'll never see the gun. ;)

^^Yeah... just joking around. But it is my CCW when I can't carry something larger (like right now).

I'd love to really make it a key chain gun, but I suspect it might interfere with the draw somewhat ;), not to mention creating some brandishing issues in the parking lots, and whatnot..

Thanks for the photography kudos!
