SHOT Show Para Pro Draws his gun then reloads rather rapidly.

Fast, but not sure what the point of that is? I would hope if you needed to reload your gun would already be out.

Double, he dry fired THEN dropped magazine and reloaded. Pretty slick I have to admit.

That's Travis Tomasie. You might remember him from that YouTube video a few years back, in which he reloaded his pistol, then caught the empty magazine before it hit the ground...

Lets see him do that with a bone stock 1911 and his extra magazines in a standard concealed carry rig from concealment instead of a fancy competition rig. I'm sure he'll still be fast, but its not all that impressive to me when he does it with gear specifically designed to make it easy to be fast.

thats like saying a Porche going 0-60 in 2.5 seconds isnt impressive because a Porche is designed to be a fast car...

Oh come on, it's hard to be that fast even with the gear.

Yup, pretty impressive with a revolver. That's why it's a world record. I wonder how fast Travis could do the drill with his Limited Division gear? Of course that would be apples to oranges.
