What is the last gun that you bought?

Picked my PS-90 up yesterday. Also bought a CounterSniper 2-16x44 to mount on it. Here is the pic. I know it's a poor excuse for a pic, but I am no photographer.

I've put about 150 rounds through it w/o any mishaps. Big Grin

Being a CZ that doesn't surprise me.

It's a nice shooting gun.

On this gun you can

1. turn the safety one way & you get "To swap the decocker to a safety if you plan on carrying cocked and locked"

or

2. turn the safety the opposite way & you get the de-cocker no safety.

You do it yourself at home - mine came switched to the de-cocker position So I didn't have to change anything.

There are 3 excellent movies that show how to do this switch at home.

My last gun is a remington 700 SPS VARMINT in 22-250. I shot only about 30 rds just to adjust my scope.

By "one way" and "the other way" you mean the lever is forward of the pin/pivot for de-cock and aft of the pin/pivot for "safety lever"?
So the frame contains BOTH mechanisms, and the internal portion of that lever can be set to activate either?

I'm intrigued - does anyone know where I could find a detailed schematic or do they have a picture of the internals to share?
The diagram in the manual I found online implied that there were multiple cutouts on the safety/decocker's internal portion, but I couldn't puzzle out what, exactly, they interact with inside.

I bought my first gun two years ago at age 65. That was a Glock 17. Now almost 30 guns later I just ordered a Smith Wesson 617 to keep my 686P company.

Not unless they switched something. You have to remove the safety and install the decocker and spring. You get both in the case when you buy the gun.

Allroundhunter, I try to get one per week, somtimes 2-3 per week. Depends on the amount of overtime I get at work. If this rain passes by tomorrow, my wife has plans for us to hit the gun range. Bringing the PS-90, Steyr SSG69, Weatherby SUB-MOA, and the new Tommy.

The last gun I bought was a Smith and Wesson M&P 15 sport, I'm really happy with but am wondering if I needed to spend extra money on a model with forward round assist and ejection port cover.
