Yes:

MP5SD (clone I believe, and most fun and controllable magazine fed that I have fired)
M4
M1919 (one of my favorites, probably because it is the only belt-fed)

If I could buy one, it would probably be the MP5. The 1919 just costs too much to run, and the M4 just doesn't do anything for me that a standard semi-auto AR won't.

During Air Force career:
M-16 and Smith & Wesson M-79 Uncle Sugar paid for the ammo.

Woops: Forgot the M-4

Keep shootin' and check 6

thompson submachine gun model 1928 and m1a1
sten
m4

got to shoot all of them at the Iowa carry meeting a couple of years back. what a day that was!

I've never had the opprotunity to fire a FA weapon but hope to do so in the future.

My brother and I rented an Uzi and a Thompson (I don't know the model) at The Survival Store in 'Vegas about 25 years ago. The Thompson was easier to control and, although this shouldn't have mattered (but it did), it sounded great! Maybe down the line I'll look in to a 10/22 Gatling gun kit (two 10/22s with a hand crank).

I don't have much full-auto experience but I've shot a Sten SMG, Bren LMG (some variant of L4) and FN GPMG (some variant of L7). I've also shot a Thompson (made in 1939) and a suppressed M4 chambered in 300 AAC Blackout.

Memory getting raggedy, but:

Glock 18
M2 BMG!!!!!!!!! Oh yea!
M2 Carbine
Swedish "K"
Walther MPL
S&W 76
Several of the MAC family in 9/45/380
UZI
MAT 49
HK MP5 I don't remember the variant
Thompson
M16 SMG 9mm
STEN
Sterling
M60
M1919A4
M1917 Yea water cooled
RPD
RKM IIRC
BAR
Ak47 and several long and short variants
M14
G3
EM16E1
M16A1
CAR-15

Probably a few others that I can't remember. I do remember this, try to make sure your Uncle is buying the Ammo. Full auto, is as expensive as it is fun, very.

The full auto I would like to own is either the MP5/UZI/Swedish "K". But as a realist, I could only afford to feed one in 22 Long rifle. I could do that. IIRC the AT 180 with the Lewis gun like round pancake magazine would be nice.

Personally I have no need for a full auto. I would not fight with it in auto if I did have one. But I sure would like one to play with.

That was a fun blast from the past.

Good luck

Fred

The only full autos I have fired are the M2 Browning .50 cal. in aircraft mounted pods in air-to-air gunnery on the T-2 aircraft, and the 20mm Hughes MK IV gun pod, in air-to-air and air-to-ground, mounted on the centerline of the F-4. The MK IV has a 4,000 rpm rate of fire and is almost like shooting a shotgun from an aircraft.
