NRA museum

Wish I could rent some of the guns in there!

I never saw anything about gun rentals in the museum. Don't think most of the guns there are even available for touching with anything more than your eyes... There were some replica black powder pistols for sale in the gift shop however.

Are you thinking of the NRA range that is there as well? No idea if the range at the NRA HQ has gun rentals, didn't go to the range when I visited.

The museum is separate from the range. The museum is definitely worth a look. The range is in the basement and parking is behind the main building. I don't think they rent anything, but you should check directly with them because I don't know for sure. There ammo prices are good though!

No they don't. How ironic. It's a shame too; they have all those different calibers, but not a single firearm. :banghead:

when i lived in Nova the NRA range and Blue Ridge Arsonal were the only games in town.

when the NRA range isnt busy you can keep shooting without additional costs. BRA charged $10.00/hr. where i was there.

I have visited the NRA Museum three times and never knew that they had a range open to the public and I am a Life Member. Well, live and learn....!

Great museum with some truly well thought out displays and themed exhibits. The museum store is also worth checking out as well. As far as I know there are no gun rentals at the range.

That must be a great experience to see the museum AND blow money at a gift shop, I'd find so many nick-nacks I never knew I needed
