1. Increase production of the SR1911 (I've been on my LGS's list for over a year).
2. Offer the SR1911 in a blued finish (not a black oxide)
3. Once you have that covered, offer the SR1911 in Commander sized frame, preferably a bobtailed alloy frame.
4. Build an LC9 that will make me want to sell my Kahr PM9.
5. Redesign the LCP with a last round slide lockback feature.

1- build a BUNCH on sr1911
2- redhawk in 10mm
3- semi auto pistol caliber carbines that take sr mags
4- same calibers availible for both stainless and blued blackhawks
5- sr pistlols with steel or alloy frames instead of polymer

1. Produce current production guns to meet demand
2. Mini 1911 in .380 like the old Llama
3. Factory threaded guns
4. Mini-14 chambered in 300 AAC black out with factory threads

What about a modernized, stripped down, economical take on the M44 carbine for under $300 new? I wonder if that's possible.

1) 7.5" Redhawk Hunter in .45 Colt
2) Carbine conversions for the SR9/SR40 pistol w/ 2x 30 round magazines.

I was asleep at the wheel when they discontinued the PC 9. I wish I had purchased one. Back then I wasn't sure if I wanted the Camp Carbine or the PC9. But I've had the chance now to read reviews from dozens of owners of both. The owners of the PC9s seem to have a more positive opinion of their PC9 than the Camp Carbine owners. I think maybe a big part of that was shatterd recoil buffers on the Camp Carbines and it's an easy fix, I forget who makes them now but the aftermarket buffer holds up better than the original.

But anyway, I'd buy the PC9 in a heartbeat now if they re-introduced it.

A 44mag pistol / carbine combo is an incredibly versatile set of equipment, with a wide range of ammo that can be used in both that covers everything from self defense, trail gun against everything from snakes to grizzlies, and in the carbine - big game hunting. If they re-introduced the Deerslayer, I'd be temped to get a .44 revolver to go with it. :)

I don't get the pump shotgun.

Is there really anything that Ruger could do that Remington, Browning, Mossberg and others aren't already offering?

I also don't get "Make an M14 / M1A / .308 rifle" Doesn't Springfield Armory make an M1A ? And besides that, is there really anything that Ruger could do that the other manufacters aren't already offering?

I'd like to see them make a 9mm revolver with adjustable sights - I just like 9mm stuff :)

They make ARs and 1911s and there are certainly no shortage of those being made by other companies...

I think people feel with Ruger they will get a product that works 100% for a fair price. Its quite the brand they have built over the years.

I like the 9mm revolver idea. Maybe a SP 101 in 9mm that uses moonclips.

They have continually been asked to make something in 10mm and to bring back the pistol caliber carbines over the years, maybe they finally will.

Springfield Armory charges too darned much for the M1A. It's gotten to be where it's offensively priced. If Ruger could offer one for somewhere near the price of their Mini 14/30, they would have a market. The only question is how much would it cannibalize sales of their other rifles.

I'm not sure about the pump shotgun either. Remington and Mossberg/Maverick must be vicious players in that arena. I see them making something like the MKA-1919 (M16 looking shotgun) before a pump.

I think the LCP in .22LR is a good idea, as is a pump and/or lever rifle in the same.

An extended LCP mag (with grip extension) would be nice.

What about a "normal" AR15 in the $800-900 range?

OK, how about this: a polymer K-frame revolver at a low price.

I too was confused by the pump shotgun. I can see a Ruger M1A being nice as far as lowering price due to competition with SA, but pump shotguns are already very reasonably priced. A mag-fed pump might give the KSG a run for its money though (with stiff competition by the Saigas).

I didn't realize so many people wanted a pistol caliber carbine. I think its a tough market, with Hi-Point controlling the economy side, Kel-tec with the cool factor, and the Beretta Storm in the upper end. Besides, if you're going to grab a long arm, why not grab a rifle? Plenty of SKS, AK, Mini14, AR, etc. out there...

1. An Alaskan in .357 Magnum with a 7 or 8 shot cylinder.
2. A .44 special on the GP100 frame (5 shot is fine).
3a. 10mm SR1911
3b. 10mm SR1911 longslide
4. 10mm Semi-auto carbine, along the lines of the PC series.

That's all for now....

How about bringing back the Red Label. Still the nicest looking American shotgun of recent times.

It might be time for Ruger to think about a "custom shop" as a means to build their prestige. They could begin with the Red Label Shotgun and the No. 1 series. Maybe their top of the line bolt guns as well. Add the fully de-bugged Gold Label shotgun too.

Then finally build a mass-produced double rifle in a small handful of old NE calibers. The "custom shop" might not make a lot of money, but it wouldn't lose any either if it was well managed and it would help build prestige...

SR45 (full and compact)
Leverguns in .30-30 and revolver cartridges.

Don't remember the rest. Might have listed the SR45 twice for good measure!

Didn't get the survey (even though I have several Rugers).

I want a three-inch GP100 with a five-shot .44 special cylinder. That's top of my wish list.

Then the PC9 and PC4 carbines, but set up for Glock magazines.

The carbines could originally be purchased to use Glock, S&W or Beretta mags I believe to match existing handguns that different agencies would have owned. That's before Ruger itself was a big player in pistols.
