Huge glass thread - show me your giant scopes

This might be a stupid question, but a higher end scope like the Leupold Mark 4...doesn't that really only make sense on a bolt action target rifle???

While it is certainly easier (and less costly) to build a bolt action rifle capable of excellent accuracy, many a SA can claim the same feat and warrant a good optic...particularly if you plan to dial in your elevation.

Bushnell 6-24x50. This one is the non-illuminated second focal plane model. I have one of the illuminated FFP models as well but no picture. I also have a pair of the SWFA SS 5-20x50 FFP scopes but again no pictures.

The rifle above is chambered in .204 Ruger with a 1:9 twist Shilen barrel. Shoots better than I do and the coolest thing about it is the fact that the recoil is so insignificant that you can watch the holes appear in whatever you're shooting. Total rig weighs 13.5#. Scope is just over 1.5.
