Cool Enough to Shoot

Well it finally got cool enough to shoot that .50 flintlock GPR I finished up about a month ago. After all I've got about 2 months left before I take it up to the UP Michigan for the BP hunt. Once I get er out and shoot it I'll be sure to give a full report. Sure am anxious to take er out and test fire it.

Last year I finished a .54 GPR flint. Had to widen the inlet for the tang as it was not cut straight and the buttplate didn't fit good so I modified it.
Had to dry fire the flint like 30 times before I got it to spark nicely and took about 4 pan fires before it finally ignited a charge.
