A baby Glock 26 Gen 3 that is! This will be my carry gun. The Model 17 above is a Gen 3 also. I had to buy the same Gen so they match. It just would have bothered me if they didnt. Ive put close to 2500 ish rounds through the 17 and about 60 ish so far through the 26.

I brought home a Ruger SR9 and almost never got it out of her hands. Guess I need to get one for her.

You and your wife have good taste! I also own two Glocks and they happen to be the 17 and 26, both gen 3 too. Been thinking about picking up a gen 3 34 or 35 because the 17 is set up with a Glock factory threaded barrel and it will likely end up a dedicated suppressor host once I get my hands on a suppressor (stupid Wake County, NC...have to go the "NFA Trust" route since the Sheriff won't sign off on the form 4). I want the 34 or 35 to serve as a dedicated range/plinker/competition gun, so it will likely be set up with a Dawson fiber optic front sight and a Heinie or 10-8 rear. Only problem is I can't decide between 9mm or .40! Either way, Glocks are great guns and I hope you enjoy shooting yours as much as I do mine!

thanks. I picked glock after doing alot of researching about pistols. Im very happy with my purchases. I shot the 26 yesterday and it shoots so well for me. I cant wait to put some more rounds down range. I meet with a conceald carry instructor the day before and I have the class times. Now I just need to get some days off.

where did you find a factory glock threaded barrel? Im interested to know because I too want to get a supressor for my 17 some day.

Glad you're happy with your Gen 3s, everyone should have a G17 and Browning Hi-Power in their collection. :)

I love my G26, been my EDC since I got it and my CCW almost a year ago. Got two Raven Concealment holsters for it, one IWB and one pocket, and couldn't be happier

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Thanks for the link CPshooter. The barrels are pricey at $180, I didnt expect them to be so expensive.

For the people who shoot or carry the 26:
When I first started dry firing the 26 the "target trigger" groves bothered me. Now Im used to the trigger but I think I will replace it with a g17 trigger. Will this be unlawfull in regards to 922r compliance? Has anyone done this? (if 922r isnt an issue) If you have, which trigger do you prefer? thanks

I'm coming from the H&K world, so to me $180 for a factory threaded barrel is a great price!

As for the trigger, a lot of people choose to swap out the serrated one for a smooth one. I think the serrated triggers came from some type of import regulation that required them, but it is fully legal to own a 26 with a smooth trigger considering it's a Glock factory part.
