I was interviewed for the news last week

Good evening. This was a good piece, and well played by the gun guy. I was interviewed last week by the FOX 41 news here in Louisville, KY. It went very well, I thought. The first thing that I told the lady, before any equipment was set up, was that if I felt that she was tryinng to make me look like a fool, it was over. She assured me that was not going to be the case. She was true to her word. Several times I was asked leading questions to get predetermined answers, and I dodged them without comment. It went very well. When we were winding it up, she asked me "Did you bring anything?" I asked what she meant, and she repeated the question. I said, "I really didn't have time to prepare", and then I unzipped my NRA jacket and pulled my 1911 from the holster, and said, "but I have this". She looked a little startled, and I said, "I don't know you two folks from Adam. Of course I am armed". I cleared the firearm and handed it to her. She held the gun, and they filmed the 'teaser' for the segment. All in all, I had a good time. Here is a link to the video DennyMac

Thank you for representing the 2nd Amendment and Pro-Gun people in such a positive fashion.

You need to be on Piers Morgan!

GREAT interview, its funny how every one of these interviews end up close to the same way, the people proban looking silly, I believe their arguement is weak. And Piers Morgan would only get upset and call this guy names, becouse like with jessie v and ted neugent ,piers can not keep up. Piers is not on my favorite people list

I do not understand, when anti 2nd reporters bring up "nukes" or "the framers did not know about high caps" etc nonsense, that people like Mr Morgan don't say, "well, do you think they anticipated the internet? Do you think they anticipated cable TV? Then, because the pen is mightier than the sword, those should have waiting periods as well."

Good job Denny, thank you.

Wow. Great debate, that's how we as gun enthusiasts can best persuade and influence our peers and coworkers.

One point I would have included, that I have personally found to be very successful when speaking with women or older men about gun control is that a society with zero guns is one where any confrontation greatly favors brute strength.

On average, males in their 20s have that more any other segment of the population. I still recall the look in one college girl's eyes when I explained to her gun control meant she could defend herself hand to hand against a fit 200 pound guy. Carrying a pistol leveled the playing field for her.

I finally got around to watching this. Keith handled himself exceptionally well! We need to publicize interviews like this far and wide.

Keith that was great. I hope to meet you on Saturday at the Capital when we go to make our voice heard about preserving our rights. I also downloaded a membership form and I'll mail it in this week. God Bless YOU.

I snagged it, but what can I do with it to avoid copyrights?

I just checked. The original link still works.

Great Job;
Maybe some ideas for a next debate: "printed on their cars': do you believe everything printed on a soda can?

government will do a great job: had the same discussion over here with a friend/entrepreneur:
I asked him if he was thinking the government was doing a great job in his knowledge department, answer NO, other departments he knew about: even bigger NO, then why on earth do you assume they get this wright? : big silence.
the big public is like bigbird: they put their head in the sand and belief they are all-wright.

Keep up the good work

Fife Street is Dangerous

I worked at a restaurant near Fife street several years ago, and it was an unnerving place. When the sun went down, the drug dealers, hoes and pimps came out.

I carried.

Congrats WVDL...good job keeping your cool.

The reporter wants a "rational" interview, starts loosing the debate, starts the irrational arguments. Finds he is out classed by several orders of magnitude and ends the segment.

No wonder I refuse to watch the news anymore. :banghead:
