MSNBC Poll On Whether You Would Send Your Kids To School With Armed Teachers

2.54 Just hit it. 72.5 to 27.5 in favor.

I serve on a volunteer issues committee for a large, high performing school district. We are getting a lot of demands for armed guards. My point was allow concealed carry by any staff willing to do so. Next week's meeting should be interesting.

I would point out that just sending out press releases saying that armed guards are under consideration is a deterent. If you do get guards use the news media to spread the word that you are no longer a gun free zone (of the kind potential shooters are looking for). Let them look somewhere else.

Excellent point, OF. Maybe schools could start posting "protected by CCW" signs if legal hurdles are removed?

Surely it will not be mentioned on Ed's Show.

If anyone hears or sees of these results being broadcast it would be nice to know. Funny how they only talk about the facts that fit their agenda.

I don't have school-age children, but my answer to that question is "ABSOLUTELY"

They'll bury this poll as ti does not fit their far left, anti legally owned guns agenda.

I think they are going to keep this poll up, and hope that the president's actions today (Jan. 15th) generate a different total from they're more loyal leftist viwers. I suspect this won't happen. Regardless of how they feel about guns, they want to keep their kids safe too.
