Besides, there are a couple pistol-caliber carbines out there that accept Glock magazines, and this would be just dandy in those.

Many people don't see a use for 17-round magazines, 10-round magazines, or owning handguns at all.

New York's legislators just decided there was no use for 10-round magazines and reduced the acceptable number to 7.

Defining this fight by "need" is handing the fight to the enemy and, having worked in DC with the upper level folks for 20 years I can assure you that "slippery slope" is not a false notion.

It is actually very simple. A solid and responsible citizen can be handed a .50 full auto machine gun and 20K rounds of ammo and there would be NO PROBLEM because that person is not a murderer. A lunatic cannot be trusted with a ball point pen.

I would respectfully suggest you sit down and do some serious thinking about the implications of worrying about the tool control when you should be considering criminal control.

From reviews I've read, most of those cheap drum magazines don't work very well. If the gov't wants to reduce the likelyhood of future Sandyhooks, maybe the gov't should require we all use these drum mags.

BTW, I have three of the 32 rd Glock mags for my KelTec Sub 2000 because it's a pain to reload/replace mags after every 10 shots when we're battling milk jugs, rotten fruit, eggs, balloons etc. out in the pasture.

I just don't understand the NEED for any of those. I mean, fast cars kill people.... swimming pools account for more accidental deaths of children than firearms... and that knife is just stupid-looking. No one NEEDS any of those, and they're DANGEROUS.

Yeah...that one is stupid...the one you want has TWO drums at the bottom and holds 100 rounds. We just bought one for a buddy as a gift...really neat.

Somebody will be along in a couple months or days for them too I'm sure.

While I won't buy one because I think they are dumb, I certainly don't support anyone restricting someone's right to own one if they think it looks cool.

Law abiding citizens should be able to exercise their God-given rights without a demonstration of "need". However if you insist on justification then how about protection from the radical left-wing government trying to take away these same rights?
