Will the SAR Arms B6 take cz 75 magazines?

Great, now I have to Google.

SAR Arms B6

For ease of grabbing the name.

NG VI, ahve you personally confirmed this? I've read that they will not work in the Sar, but some of the older "slimmer" Witness mags will work. If someone can personally confirm any other mags that will work it would be appreciated. The Sarsilmaz mags from EAA are a little pricey at $36.

EAA Witness mags for the pre-2005 Metal framed, and full size poly frame will fit. CZ 75B mags are too wide, but CZ 75 SP-01 18rd mags fit like a glove, but they make factory EAA mags look inexpensive by comparison.

CZ 75B mags are too wide, but CZ 75 SP-01 18rd mags fit like a glove,,,,

That's strange, as the 75B and SP-01 mags are otherwise interchangeable in most guns that accept CZ mags. (Not pre-Bs, of course.) [Not disputing -- just commenting on this strange difference.]

Pre-B mags might work, too... including older 15-round CZ factory mags, as they're a little narrower than the later mags. Someone might want to check THAT, too.

I was able to take my Sar Arms B6P to a local shop that had a new 9mm Witness with 16 round magazine on the shelf. The Witness magazine fit perfectly, the slide locked back (at least by hand) and the angle/profile of the follower looked identical to the Sarzilmaz 17 round magazine. The Witness magazine dropped free just like the factory mag. Obviously I couldn't test fire it, but I believe the Witness mag will work. This was a new, current production Witness with what appeared to be the newest Mec-Gar magazine.

If anyone has a way to test fire any of these mags with their Sar I would appreciate it.

Current production Witnesses are all based on the LARGE (.45/10mm) frame. I wonder if the gun you checked was NEW OLD STOCK... using the smaller frame?

I say that because the current production Witnesses are bigger and use much bigger/wider magazines than the older models. The older models are much closer to the CZ-75B in size in the 9mm and .40 models. Those older (small frame) magazines work in CZs, while the new (large frame) mags use a spacer with 9mm and .40 rounds, and would fit the CZ-97, but not the 75B.

The only reason I mention this is that if you ORDER mags online for your gun, you may end up with mags for the wrong frame size, and then you might have to send them back.

EAA's site has everything listed....you can get 3 for $75 as I recall. If in doubt; call them. It will take several attempts to get through.

The Blackhawk SERPA holsters for the Sig 228/229 will work. I use a Bianchi Accumold model 7001 because I wanted a holster with a closed end, as my Sar is my beater/truck/hiking pistol.

Any plastic-type holster that is close can be easily adjusted with a good heat gun. Go at it carefully, heat it up, insert the gun, and continue to apply the heat. Withdraw the heat, and let it cool with the gun in the holster.

If you get to heavy handed with the heat gun, you'll ruin the holster, so go slow.

(Harbor Freight has the guns used to remove tiles, etc., for under $10.)

I'm also interested since this gun is under $300.

Can anyone with PERSONAL knowledge please confirm the exact CZ magazine you're using to fit in the Witness PS 9mm?
