New from Glock the 30s

It's amazing that they chose to do this instead of release a single-stack 9mm like everyone wants. Just a cheap and gimmicky thing to do IMO. How about some real innovation and consistency in a product?

I'm no engineer but is it possible that Glock has gone about as far as it can go with it's basic design? Have they reached a point that they are making changes just for the sake of change? Hopefully, someone better informed than me will come along and inform us.

So you all who "Rolled your own" or if there are new owners out there, what kind of holster are you using? Will a G-36 holster work or do you still have to use the G-30 holster?

I'm sure it's old news by now about the G30S, but how silly is it that Glock claims their engineers developed a slimmer slide Glock 30?

People have been doing it for years. Even before the SF version came out.

Next, they will take Pearce's idea and claim they "re-engineered" the magazines

They did develop a slimmer slide. Someone else may have developed it first, but I don't think Glock is claiming to have been the first to develop one.

I'll be honest, a 30/36 hybrid was exactly what I wanted from them, and if they were in stores back when I was an active recreational shooter I would have snapped one up.
