What is your perfect revolver pair?

I would have to go with my 642-1 and my 629-4 6" barrel. I carry both of these on a regular basis (we have open carry in my state)

Pair? So far I am still recovering from the purchase of my first rimfire Korth model 24/. I am saving for another in .357 or a MR73 with a 6" barrel.

Until then, the niche is perfectly filled by a S&W M14-2

Well if they got to be functional and practical, how about winter and summer .357's?

A Korth? I gotta go breathe into a paper bag for a minute, got revolver envy, be right back...

EDIT: Okay, breathing is back to normal, grabbing a shamwow to mop up drool from seeing all these pictures.

I would say my Ruger Super Blackhawk .44 and my Blackhawk .357 I would like to add a single-six for a nice threesome.
The Single Six and .357 Blackhawk is a pair of pistols I'd certainly like.

For double action, I'd prefer a S&W 686 and 617.

Honestly, I'd like all four.

I like my Freedom Arms model 97 .357 for serious target shooting, silhouette competition and accuracy testing of proven loads. (my sports car of guns)

My GP100 is my all around revolver. Defensive use if needed, proof testing of handloads (don't want to blow up my F/A), and heavy load specialist. (my pick up truck)

My Ruger Blackhawk Bisley in .45 Colt with Altamont Grips and my 1976 Super Single Six with Ruger Fiber optic sights, also with Altamont grips:

I need to work on this picture thing.
I've owned this pair since the early '70's.
Colt diamondbacks...a 4" .38 special
a 6" .22.

Wish I had a picture.

My pefect pair of revolvers would be my S&W Model 686 and my Model 649. Both are polished stainless steel and are a great duo together.

A 642-2 and a 686-6 plus.

This is what I typically carry (sometimes it's a CZ 75D PCR rather than the 686)

They aren't pretty, but my little 642 and my 6" Model 28 are a perfect pair. One extreme to the other. Perfect for everything I need a revolver for, from plinking to target shooting, HD, predator protection and even CCW.

As the OP has it. I have a 642, and a 3" 13-3. I could see me going for a 65, if I ever came across one when I could afford it.

eta: um, dang, that's a lot of revolvers. I think my wife would have a fit.

Well, I have one half - my 625 Mountain Gun in .45 Colt. To pair with it I'd like a 2" barreled K frame, probably a 64 or 65. That will be my perfect pair.

Take your pick.:D:D:D

H.o.l.y. C.r.a.p! I feel woefully inadequate now. I have a new goal though: to have a large enough collection that the firearms get their own bed. If it wouldn't be so uncomfortable one might be tempted to roll around on that bed like a millionaire wallowing around on their money.

Beautiful collection.
