Just renewed and now im a Life Member! Thanks for the post because I normally do the 5 year plan.

I signed up in mid-January and received my packet this past weekend. NRA card, NRA decal, NRA patch, certificate etc. all with "Life Member" on them... oh my, what to do now.

I'm a former card carrying non-member of the NRA and one of those who has been burned by an NRA sell out so I normally send them just enough to keep my instructor credentials active. The rest goes to the groups above. I just upgraded to life using the phone number at the above link. Desperate times call for desperate measures).

Might be a silly question, but are their additional benefits to being a life member, as opposed to an annual member?

(My one little bnefit of renewing annually, is that when I do it at my yearly trip to a gun show, I renew and get into the show for free, and maybe more importantly, get to skip the line around the block waiting to pay to enter ...)

I did it back in January as well. Well worth the money in my opinion. Though when the shiny new life member packet showed up they spelled both my first and last names wrong... Can't win them all I suppose.

I extended my yearly membership to a lifetime. Thanks!
