I love fine wood, and would like to see what you guys have. I will start with this Rem 25[yes it's original factory]

One of my nicer ones:

Winchester FWT made in the early 1980's.

My big bores. A Marlin 44 magnum and 1/500 SS Guide guns made in 2005 chambered in 35 Rem.

The '58 models. A Marlin and a Winchester both made in the year of my birth.

The Trapper. One of only 2700 made during 1988-89.

All the levers together. Guess you can tell I don't like pistol grips on lever actions.

1st pic, Shiloh 1874 Sharps. This is the standard grade of wood. 2nd pic, not the best, sorry, the wood on one of my CPA Stevens 44 1/2

Hello friends and neighbors // I'm jealous...some real beauties folks.

Here is my 1976, Remington, 870, Wingmaster, 12ga. set up for HD.

Worked all summer for my Dad to pay for it, then got it as a 15th Birthday gift.
Guess I worked harder than I thought.

Some "best gun" stuff on this thread for sure. I am kinda proud of this stock because I finished it myself from a Fajen "semi inlet" 30 years ago. Semi inlet my butt it was a blank. Took me 6 months to complete.

Here's a 4" Model 17-6 I bought for my father 20-odd years ago.

He wanted something to carry under his coat while deer hunting and his 17-4 with the 8.375" barrel and 2x scope wouldn't fit.

This is a 28 ga. Guerini Woodlander next to my 12 ga. 870 Exp. I took the pic to show the overall length of two guns with 28-inch barrels.

My father and I found the Guerini in 2004 at the shop around the corner from his house. I got him looking at 28 ga. guns that Saturday and he went back on Monday and bought it. We shot it for a few months and then he gave it to me for my birthday. I think that was the plan all along - he was 82 when he bought it.
