These seems to be hard to find nowadays even on gunbroker.com . Any known online dealership that has them in stock? What good prices do usually these guns being priced at ?

what cal? 40 or 9mm?

It appears that he is fine with either seeing as the 92 is a 9mm and the 96 is a .40 S&W. I think he just wants the stainless look.

I usually see them at about the $750-$800 mark. You might be able to get one a little cheaper if it is used, but I haven't seen one used recently that I remember.

I find my 92 Compact Inox in my safe usually :neener:

In all seriousness, Buds and Summit Gun Broker seem to get them in pretty regularly.

i m more looking to getting the full size 96 INOX bec of the .40 SW which i really like .
The gun just looks sexy especially with all stainless older model before they added those black parts (currently made)for contrast.

Call CDNN
I am pretty sure they have been sending flyers with INOX turn ins recently.

I should have been clearer, I was asking his preference. I have owned several INOX Berettas and have a few buddies who might have one for sale.

I was at Gander Mountain and they have a black 92 FS. Anyway i noticed the front end of the barrel and top of the slide has a gap. Unlike the the 1911 pistols that has bushing to keep it nice and tight. Also the Beretta barrel is not really held well bec of the open top slide.
Is the barrel lock up of the Beretta design a good one at that compared to traditional ones?

The Beretta 92 is similar in barrel design to the Walther P38, which, as you can see, doesn't require support at the muzzle. The barrel mount and alignment are at the rear, and very secure and accurate, as the barrel doesn't tilt during the locking/unlocking sequence. WaltherP38.jpg
