Very Nice

Randy, I really like the holster. I prefer holsters that are functional without a bunch of fancy dodads. Where did you get it?

The holster, belt and dual cylinder holder came for southern comfort mercantile in Tennessee

Their web addy is : www.southerncomfortmercantile.com

Very nice people. Appears to be quality work and it was very reasonable!!

Just tell me Randy Ray sent ya.

I Hate You Randy

Oh, yes, I do.

But first, you really ARE jumping in with both feet! That is a simple but practical leather setup you got and does indeed look well made and serviceable. I like it too. But I'm not jealous of it, no, that's not why I hate you.

Are you really that skinny!?

LOL

That second one worked pretty good.

Looks like a nice gun and holster, are those conical bullets?

Looks like a nice new setup!

I have no source for real BP locally! Actually that is the only pistol powder I could find. It shoots and smokes. It will have to do for now till I can find a source to purchase BP and I'm not paying the hazmat fee to order. If I knew someone else around me that was into BP I would go in and buy enough online and split the cost. But the pyrodex P shoots fine in my opinion. I'm sure there will be 1000 other opinions on powder!

Man, I've got to get into BP revolvers. I love them and haven't even fired one before. I'm putting it off because I know that it's something else I'll be hooked on. :)

I looked at their site, but didn't see the pouch. I contacted them and am awaiting a reply.

The stitching on the holster my dad gave me with my ROA is coming apart, and I don't have a good belt to match it. I've seen the setup offered at DGW, and figured a pouch slightly larger than the one you have would be nice (hold my round brass flask, tin of caps, a few dozen balls/conicals, etc.).

Their prices are quite reasonable!

... I'm not paying the hazmat fee to order.

One pound of Pyrodex is $20-25 right? So if one was to purchase 3lbs, they would spend between $60-75 before state sales tax right?

Well, 3lbs of real black powder delivered to their door is $77 from Grafs.

I don't like paying Hazmat fees either, but I'll never shoot that crud through my revolvers. It's like putting a modern scope on a Hawken rifle. :what:

Arkansas Paul;

Come to Tulsa Sept. 20, 21 and watch the Okla. State Cowboy Action Championships. There will be several of us cap and ballers playing there!
