Can anybody show me a picture of a Ruger Redhawk with Tyler T-Grips? How do the T-Grips feel? Seems to me that the stock Ruger Redhawk grip doesn't look very comfortable. I don't like grips that don't come up under the trigger guard; the trigger guard knocks against my knuckle, and I have to shift my grip around a lot.

No T-Grips to show but ... the Hogues do give some measure of wrap over the trigger guard. Much more and there'd be loss of space for middle finger IMO.

Not sure whether this pic shows it well enough but might as well see .... it's from the pic of whole gun ... lighting a bit subdued.

I went ahead and copied it over here for ease.

The Redhawk has a special place in soul, besides .22's it was my first handgun. Mine sports the Hogue MonoGrip, it makes it feel like a revolver made for you. I kinda like the T-Grips though, I had never seen them until now on a Redhawk. I think I'll send for a set.

I'm going to take some updated pictures of the 357 Redhawk later on. I have Sambar Stag grips combined with the T Grip adapter on it now.

:)

Hogrider, you are disgusting! I hate you! Now I'm going to have a sleepless night, dreaming about that utterly beautiful stag-gripped Redhawk!

Seriously, though... that's a truly lovely piece of work. Did you get it like that, or figure it out and order the grips, T-grip, etc. yourself? VERY nice!

Hehe - long story, trying to keep it short. The gun came with the wooden stock grips, which I never liked. I have several Redhawks and have tried all the available rubber grips and didn't like any of them. So somebody told me about Tyler and I called them.

While I was on the phone with Tyler manufacturing I also browsed their web site at the same time and discovered that part where it mentioned that they had stopped selling grips, but still might have a few in stock. So I asked if there was maybe something in Stag for the Redhawk somewhere. After a few days the nice lady called me back and told me that she had found some Sambar Stags for the Redhawk. So I ordered T Grip and Stag grip. I really like the combination of them together on the gun and it fits my rather large hands perfectly.

PS: As far as I know there were 2 more Sambar Stag grips left. Since I had 2 more Redhawks I decided to buy the rest of the inventory 2 weeks later. lol :D

Hogrider - that Redhawk looks great.

Nightcrawler - I'm wanting to have a Redhawk cut down to about 4", too. I don't know why Ruger won't offer a 4" barrel...
