"Lead in" or Flare dimensions of AR15 lowers?

There are significant differences between these flared magwells. Anyone got any measurements on the lead in of these or other flared lowers?

Noveske = 1.24" by 3.00"

Looks like .14 to .3" flare on the Noveske.


My CMMG standard milspec lower is 1.1" x 2.7" on the outside just under the lip. My hand also shifted on the 2.7" photo which is why the reading is higher (2.8 instead of 2.7).

Inside dimensions 0.933" x 2.695"

Yes it's an N4 "chainsaw"

Let me take a side by side pic.

Colt 6920 on left, Noveske on the right.

Colt on bottom, Noveske on top. Hopefully that should illustrate the 'bevel' in the magwell.
