Wanting new slim 9mm

I'm trying to find one myself. I've owned a glock 27 and found it just too thick for IWB carry.

I've shot a Kahr cw9, shield 9mm, and a Ruger LC9. I would still like to shoot a walther pps, XDS, and Bersa BP9CC. Out of the Kahr, the shield, and the ruger, I prefer how the Kahr shot. I was most accurate with it. The shield wasn't that far off.

... and I have large hands (2xl gloves) but liked slim pistols to start with.

I made the same switch, as I found my G26 too wide for CCW carry. I went with a Kahr P9 Black Diamond with night sights and couldn't be happier.

I have a g26 and a nano, I have large hands but really like the little nano, I shoot it better than I did my kahr cm9. I can pocket carry the nano in jeans.

My hands aren't huge, but my fingers are kind of long and thinner. Still, I can handle the harsh handling of the Kel-Tec PF9 just fine, and it is my EDC (I switched from a gun that was not only thicker-gripped, but shot a less-powerful round.)

So, anything even marginally thicker, such as the LC9 or CW9, would simply be that much more pleasant.

About 6 months ago I had my sights set on buying a 9mm Shield. I already have a M&P full size and was looking to purchase the Shield. Instead of the Shield, I left the LGS with a 9mm Bersa BP9CC. The grip and the trigger sold me. And for around $400, you won't go broke either. It has some good reviews.

If at all possible, shoot before you buy.

I have personal experience with three of your options mentioned.

My EDC is a G26, and I have no issues carrying it. I am fast and accu7rate with it, and can shoot a couple hundred rounds thru it comfortably any day.

My slim 9 is a Shield. Not as good with it as the G26, but still acceptable. It's my formal attire piece.

I had a LC9. Accurate, but slooow and less than comfortable. Gives up too much just to be smaller. Trigger sucked. Sold it and made two people happy!

If at all possible, shoot before you buy.

My experience mirrors that of Teachu2. I prefer to carry my P250 hybrid doublestack but a singlestack 9 is easier to carry & conceal.
Tried the Kahr CM9 & CW9 and while surprisingly accurate for such small pistols, I needed a Hogue grip sleeve for shooting comfort.
Tried a SIG P290RS (DAO like my P250) and while the grip is slim and doesn't fill my large hand comfortably like the bigger P250, I shoot it nearly as well and it carries/conceals much better w/o the need for a grip sleeve for comfortable shooting.
Handle/shoot as many options as you can, I'm sure you'll find something that will fit your particular needs.

I handled a S&W Shield 9MM yesterday at a LGS. I liked it a lot. It was slim, but still with a large enough grip to get a good hold. I also handled a Sig P938, and liked that also, but the grip was very short, and only allowed a two fingered hold. It was also more than $300 in cost over the Shield.

Mine is a Shield 9mm. 938 are nice but too much $$$ for me. I like the feel of the Nano, but didn't ever warm up to funky slide release. Was set on PT709 for a while due to great trigger, but went S&W for better quality reputation.

I like the Walther PPS for IWB as well as my S&W 3913.

I actually bracketed your Glock 26... I find my M&P Shield to be more comfortable (if not really any more concealable) due to how thin it is. On the other end, I find the Glock 19 to not really be any less comfortable or too much harder to conceal in a good holster (TT Gunleather IWB) than the Glock 26. So those are my two...

I have rather large hands and find that the Walther PPS with the large grip insert fits me very well and if anyone else in the household wishes to shoot it, I simply snap in the small grip insert.

I did 40 hours of research on the last toilet I bought. I'm somewhere in the 60 hour or more range on what single stack 9mm (in my budget range) so far I'm coming up Shield. I've still got more to go, the shield is a little heavy but covers most other bases I want. Gotta take a look at a g36 and bp9cc.

I rarely carried my m&p 9c because it was just too thick. I traded it and now it's time for something beyond my LCP. A thin 9 or 45 should do for my purposes.

When I think slim 9mm, I think Browning Hi Power, but maybe that's just me.

The Walther PPS is super slim and a joy to shoot. And you can get 6-, 7-, or 8-round magazines depending on how much grip you want.

You know that isn't far fetched at all. The BDM was one if not THE slimest, full size, double stack 9MM's out there. I still prefer the Hi Power, however, but the BDM is an interesting piece.

Another slim 9MM is the HK P7, but I got the impression the OP was looking for a newer, sub-compact, but I could be totally wrong.

I'm still hoping that CZ will come out with a "thin Rami". Few guns fit my hand as well as a CZ and having one thin enough to be adequately concealable would be of extreme interest for me.

I recently bought an LC9. It's slimmer and lighter than most. I shoot revolvers regularly so the trigger feels just fine to me.

Shot a Walther PPS9 Shield, Traded a kahr Pm9 for the XDS9. The XDs9 is my favorite, with the Kahr coming in second. #3 Walther PPs9 and then the Shield. All good guns just a matter of preference I suppose. I'm chomping at the bit waiting for the XDS to come back. I really like that pistol.

Unless seeking a pocket gun i'd stick with a double stack. I have big hands and an LC9. The biggest challenge is not so much my grip as the looooooong trigger pull. I almost have to shift my grip to finish the pull. Installing a rubber grip sleeve actually help a lot though and I intend to upgrade the trigger eventually. Really though its not primary carry gun and I only use when I can't go with an untucked shirt.

Wow am I glad I did.

9c is a much better gun in so many ways.

By the way it carries 12 + 1 in a very small thin package
