Anyone have a New Army Buffalo? Lets see em!

I picked this one up today at a pawn shop near me for $125. they had another one with the brass frame but for some reason the brass frames dont look right on a remington in my eye. They dont look bad on a colt but not on a remie

Cant wait to shoot it!

No, but that picture sure could convince me to buy one!! After you shoot it let us know how it goes. Are you going to compare that with your other Remington for accuracy because it looks like the back sight is adjustable?

I should of swept the floor before i took the picture

Ill try the same loads and stuff, i keep almost every target ive shot so i can compare them.

Im sure though with a 12" barrel this one will have a slight advantage. Also i think i could gain some velocity with the 4" longer barrel.

It does have rear windage and hight adjustable rear sight it is the "Target" version. Pietta made a few models with these sights named "Target" models.

It looks like it may of been shot once, there is a slight blast cut in the cylinder pin but its very faint.

Great looking Rennie Buff. You got a great deal on a stainless. I have a pair of
brassie Buffs, one set up with a longer hammer screw style detachable shoulder stock. In the field I carry
one pistol in a belt holster and the stocked one attached via the saddle ring on the stock to a cross shoulder ACW style carbine sling. For a gun that never was produced back in the day, its pretty cool and accurate too. May I suggest you throw a pic up in the 1858 clubhouse on this forum.

So is it actually stainless or just in the white?

Looks nice. You lucky dawg!

In our local pawn shops they would have weighed it and then looked up the price for gold today to figure out how to price it 1 for 1........

Hey, you didn't buy it you stole it. Seriously, you could easily double your money or more when you go to sell it. Nice looking gun, and poster from Florida is about spot on. Have fun with your new hand cannon.

I do have a New Model Buffalo but no pic handy so I had to go with this Colt Buffalo...
:D

Are these rare? i figured there would be a few more who have one they would post a picture of. Maybe i just need to keep it in the Remington thread?

I bought the second one they had up there, got it for the same price.
