Updated Ruger KLCP vs. other pocket autos?

Huntsman, that depends on your pockets and your belt. I've fit an XDm 40C in my pockets ;)

I will say that out of my 3 handguns, my LCP is my least favorite and most carried.

For me size is less a determining factor than weight when it comes to pocket guns. I could get my P-232 in the pocket what I couldn't get used to was the way it sagged my paints down on the carry side, same thing in a coat. The LCP isn't a peach by any means but it is a way for me to keep armed all the time and that's what I deem most important.

i have an lcp that is about a year old, no problems. I did find that adding the hogue pin on grip improves the grip and recoil control considerably. I also use pierce grips on 2 spare mags. They don't give me a 3 finger hold but they give a nice gripping point between the ring finger and pinky. By Klcp do you mean LCP380?. I am not big fan of the 380 but mine probably gets carried more anything else for now at least.

My brother-in-law bought a Kahr P380. What a big mistake that was for him. He had nothing but trouble with it last year and with Kahr's stinking customer service it cost him $77 to get it fixed. He had more than $677 in it and it still would not shoot many types of ammo. He took my advice and went to Gander Mt a few miles away and got a Taurus TCP for $200 and it has not missed a shot with any ammo. With Kahr it is a hit or miss. I have their PM9 and it is great. Stay with a company that has a life-time warranty and excellent customer service and you will glad you did.

That said, I think most gun companies can produce a problem gun. The real difference is how they deal with it. Kahr would get an "F" in that department.

I'd like to get some more rounds through it, including some hollowpoints, but I like mine so far.

I only had one box of ammo, 50 rounds of American Eagle, but except for a failure to fire due to an unseated magazine (I believe it was my fault for not seating it in the first place), functioning was perfect - no other failures to fire, feed or eject. Ejection was clean and positive, with no cases flying back to bean me. And I shot this target with it:

The range was very close, varying from two to five yards, as befits a gun of this type. A number of shots are to the left due to my needing more finger across the trigger, but the holes in the red center of the target and directly between its "eyebrows" represent its true accuracy potential. I've never shot the old style trigger, but the trigger on this one is a delight - smooth with a short stroke.
