This might be a dumb question, but what's up with the revolver in his hand? I mean, you've got a standard family photo. Young married couple, new baby, new car...gun. Is that just to show it off?

It would serve to show your brides family that you are providing well for their daughter.

Times do change iffin that were either of my girls he'd be holden the baby and they'd have the gun. lol

That is a cane hanging out of that window. If you zoom in with a good image editing program you can see the hook in the guys hand.
