What is your favorite .380ACP?

My is a BDA, I had a p-232 and it was accurate but the DA pull seemed a bit heaver than the BDA and for a bit more weight I got double the capacity over the P-232 so it went bye and an LCP came to give me a legit pocket gun.

Mine would be the only one I own. A Bersa "Combat" Thunder 8+1 when shooting 90 grain XTP HP at 1202 feet per second.
It is a fun, accurate and easy to carry pistol. With the ammo I use shooting through the Chrony at velocities of 1187 to 1202 fps @ 10'. I can't see any reason to get any other .380 ACP.

Favorite .380

My favorite that I own now is a Colt 1908 Pocket Model, because it is the only one I have at present.

The only other .380 I've owned was a modern Mauser HsC (Gambia) that was a piece of junk. I bought it because I missed my WWII .32 ACP Mauser HsC with Nazi proof marks.

I have gone over to the dark side, and I possess two 9x18mms, P-64 and CZ-82.:D

Browning 1910/1955

The extra slide was a post 1968 Browning Offering with enhanced sights.

LCP, with a Sweet Pea trigger, different springs, Maguts magazine springs and a Hogue grip wrap.
I love shooting it a bunch and it has never misfired or jammed. 8 rounds in it and 7 in my pocket. It is with me every day.

Most practical for carry - Taurus TCP.
I'd forgot to mention this, its a sweet carry piece for the price, but I rate it as less reliable than my S&W Bodyguard .380 or Ruger LCP because its totally useless with Wolf steel cased ammo -- not something you want for defense use, but if a gun doesn't work with it, I figure its really not got a lot of operating margin. I much prefer guns without ammo sensitivity.

My most pleasurable, and accurate .380 is this Harrington Richardson HK4, that I got from my father-in-law umpteen years ago, note it came with .32 auto barrel as well as a .25 auto barrel which I never got. It's a pretty neat little handgun.

My wife's Walther PPK/S (S&W made).

Got it for her birthday this year. Tried talking her into giving it back. That didn't go over well.

Actually, it did go over well...part of her response to my attempt was "Get your own!"

And THAT, gentlemen, is what is known in married life as "permission".

;)

Very nice. I'll have to file that one away.:D

Um, that's an HK, as in Heckler & Koch, not Harrington and Richardson

Cool gun, tho. Available as a 4 caliber shooter. I've always wanted one.

I like the Sig 238. Great sights, great trigger, minimal kick, especially for the size and weight.

Mine is the Keltec P3AT. Sure, I would love to shoot the Beretta 84's and such....but the only gun that matters is the one you are carrying.
