Looking at a used upper receiver, no BCG or charging handle but otherwise complete. I have no idea of the model number/name but specs are as follows:

Spikes tactical m4 upper receiver.
Spec forging with mil-spec type III hard coat anodised finish. T markings
Spikes logo and m4 feed ramps
Barrel is certified MIL-B-11595e cmv. M4 barrel extension.
Chrome chamber and bore
5.56/.223 1:7 twist. Magnetic particle testing. Phosphate finish.
Government contour barrel mid length gas system.
.750" F marked A2 front sight post
Magpul MOE mid length handguard and Magpul back up rear sight.
Standard A2 flash hider

Seller is asking $550, I was thinking of offering $500. Need an upper to go with an Aero Precision lower I'm building.

Thanks!

AAaaaaaaaaannnnnd, it's moot. Talked to the seller, he's firm at $550, I passed, no hard feelings.

The link above is for a carbine-length upper; do they have a mid-length?

Yes it's $520 shipped. Maybe you should forward that to the seller.... guess that wouldn't be taking the high road though.

heck I bought a Daniel Defense midlength upper from Brownell's for $410

It had no BCG or handguards or charging handle. But I bought a Magpul MOE handguard for $34.

So basically $444 for a Daniel Defense with a similar configuration.

I went with the DD from Brownell's. Great price for a higher-market upper. Together with the Aero Precision lower and a BCG from Palmetto State, I've only got about $800 into the whole gun. Not the lowest budget build I suppose but not bad either.

Thanks for the advice!
