I'm making my yearly cross country RV trip and decided to dry camp in the Walmart parking lot in Miles City, MT as we were needing a grocery stop anyway. While the wife picked up the needs, I checked out the spporting area. Still no 22LR but they had an AR, lots of different reloading die sets, severel presses, and CCI and WW primers (around $38/1000). Very impressive. I bought a box of SP primers and an accessory rail for my AR. Actually these free camping spots at Walmart can get a bit expensive, but it is Father's Day.

good find. none of my local walmarts have primers and such or any reload supplies.let alone tools for reloading.

im in MO but in MT it may be cost effective for them to stock such.

in about 2010 i made a 100 mi trip stopping at every wal mart i passed. i got 4 to 5 k 22lr. the saddle bags were loaded up. good luck doin that now.

Nice score and Happy Father's Day.

In a way I wished Wally Worlds in this area carried reloading supplies, but then again I started thinking about the knowledgeable people at LGS's that have helped me out as I started reloading. I find myself supporting them more and more.

I've never seen reloading supplies at a WM, but I don't frequent MT WM's either. Good find.

I enjoyed your "free RV parking spot" reference at WM. Yes, WM visits can get expensive.

Most WMs I've been into around here have guns, but I've NEVER noticed reloading supplies in one...

Local Walmart stopped selling all firearmsany years ago. They carry ammo but no reloading or black powder shooting supplies.
I don't for a fact why they quit selling guns but my guess would be MA laws had something to do with it.

Went to my local Walmart the other night, and they had a few AR-15s, and a couple AR-10s. There was a DPMS .308 AR-10 for under $1000. The basic DPMS sporter for $650, and a few mid grade ARs, including a Sig. Also a bunch of tactical shotguns, some field shotguns, bolt actions and .22 rifles. Not much for ammo, and I've never seen reloading supplies.

My local carries guns, ammo, powder, primers, and reloading equipment. They even put guns on clearance. One time, I bought a Rem 700 for $150.

I don't believe I have ever seen any reloading supplies at the Walmart here either. I have seen rifles and rows of empty shelves where ammo normally sits.

Stopped in the local Walmart Thursday night with the Boss. While she was looking at some stuff I wandered over to the ammo area. For joy, for joy; there was a sales guy there so I bought a couple of boxes of 9 mm.
No reloading stuff just bullets.

I live in north Idaho and all of our Walmart stores have guns and ammo. They also carry some reloading supplies, but its pretty hit and mis.

The OP is correct the "free" RV parking can get pricey. She who must be obeyed spend $400 the last we parked over night at Walmart. On the bright side I got 2 box of Winchester 22 mag. ammo.

Which Walmarts in Central IL stock firearms?

I'm down around the Bloomington/clinton/Decatur area, haven't seen anything but paintball and BB guns in a long time. They all have ammo (kinda-sorta), but I don't recall seeing firearms. Happy to be enlightened!

If enough people go to the store manager and ask for them to carry reloading supplies and that store carries guns they will try to get them in their store. My local store that I go to regularly is in the process of a remodel and the manager is trying to get approval for that store to add reloading supplies to their shelves. He has already gotten approval for black powder supplies they did not carry till myself and a few other went to the manager and ask for them to carry them.

Last weekend went to Walmart and they had a firearms sale. Walked out with a Colt LE6920 SOCOM. $997.00+tax

My Walmart has powder, primers, bullets, and Rock Chucker presses and dies. I just saw this recently and was taken back.

Also, my Walmart had #8 shot 12 gauge Federal loads for $19.94 for 100 rounds and Supreme buckshot for $11.96 for 25 rounds. I loaded up as most shells are much more than that, even online.
