Anybody know a recoil pad that fits for a wooden 12 gauge? What about replacing the silver bead sight with fiber optic? Any know know how to fix dents in the magazine tube ( I pryed to hard on the spring retainer it's just the last half inch is bent up by the mag cap. It's not really a problem unless I need to remove the follower someday. I got the mags spring retainer to go in back in backwards but it seems to work like that) and Best way to load one she'll for trap?

Don't know about the recoil pad. I'm sure any of the universal slip-on ones will work.
As for the thread. Browning uses a right-hand 3-56 thread for the sight. So replacing is as easy as unscrewing the old bead (might be loc-tited in so some tools would be in order) and screwing in one with the right thread size.

Removing dents from magazine tubes usually involves taking a metal cylindrical object with a tapered edge and hammering it down through the tube and as it goes through the dented area it will push the dent out. I'm sure a place like Brownells or MidwayUSA sells something specifically for that.

Well, it's gonna either have to be a shotgun with no optic sight for trap.

Or a red-dot sighted deer gun?

Can't be both at the same time with the same sighting equipment.

You need to decide which it is going to be!

Oh!
Excuse me.
I just assumed deer hunting & slug shooting when the red dot sight was mentioned.
You don't want or need a red dot sight on a shotgun for small game hunting either!

Thats what a shotgun does best without optics encumbering it and slowing you down.

You seem to be pretty new to the whole shotgun thing?

If your shooting trap mostly, i wouldnt recommend switching the bead for fiber optics (didnt hear the op mention red dots, correct me if im wrong but i think he was talking about the long neon green/red fiber optic sights). Though some claim fiber optics help shooters because your eye has to be in the same spot to get the brightest "glow" (resulting in a more consistant aim) most are distracted by it, focusing more on the fiber optic than the clay. As far as fixing the tube without replacing it, Nickle Plated covered that.

Oh!
My mistake!

I had to put foam nose cushions on my bifocals this evening, and I'm blind now looking down at my lap-top!

Sorry!
Disregard my last transmission!
