my son bought me a new Paraframe for fathers day, I have carried it some this week when i was off work but it won't replace my Icon, just does not have that heavy solid feel to it, but I will carry it some when the wife and i are going out loafing.

A Ruger SR9C and about a grand in cash....Going tomorrow to buy a Bushmaster Varminter...Billfold and a spare mag for the 9C too.....Will put a nice scope and mounts on my credit card.

Mongoslow,
Wonderful gift!
I have one of the smaller paraframes and its a nifty little blade...I'll slip it in my pocket when dressed up.

SSGT,
Sounds like its Christmas!

How do you like the Ruger? I held one at a local gun shop and the ergonomics were great...as well as the trigger. Have you encountered any problems with that little pistol? I really like some of Ruger's products, though I was sad to see the P95s discontinued.

I have not had much in my pockets today...I've been working on the pool...its has a saline chlorinator and though they are touted as needing less attention, getting any pool started is a chore (one that I actually love to do, especially when the little girl and I are playing in the cool water on hot days like today)

So...I have had this around my neck since my trunks have been wet all day. I love this little Folts.

9mmforMe..........Love the SR9C...Low recoil and easy to pop bullseyes at 10 yards with that little pistol! I have a pair of 17 round mags and a pair of 10's I have shot some +P+ Ranger SXT Lawman ammo and several hundred reloads with lots of bullets and powders and loads with never a jam or a burp! My wife carries it a lot and loves it!. I've had kids shoot it as young as 6 and they loved it as well LOL!...They were good shots too! Its just a total pleasure to shoot!

SSGT,
Good to hear. I have been thinking of getting the 9mm chambering and have heard positive reports such as yours.

The knife is a Shirley-Owens Daily-Kiri made by Sam1911 that I put a epoxy doped sisal wrap on. It is my most carried knife.

Leatherman Skeletool. It rides in my pocket pretty much ever day. The other knife I carry a lot is a Griptillian.

I forget which Opinel model# this is, but it has the 3.5" carbon steel blade. I opened up the pivot slot a little bit to make it easier to open, so opening it one-handed is not too much trouble now. The thin cross section is easy to keep sharp and the classic old-school look is just what I want in an everyday knife.
the number should be on the ring--I occasionally carry a 10 or 12 or Rajah 2, usually carry CS XL Vaquero Voyager

The Opinel is a nice knife. I still have yet to handle one.
Bedtime for me too...no pockets right now but a few knives are on the nightstand.

Regular everyday carry*

Noah....you are a good son!

Bannock....nice Schrade...good looking scales. Had it long?

Out of all the 50 or so knives I currently have. The Case canoe knife is carried the most.
