At least I think I made a pretty impressive score today! All that you see on the blue mat was purchased for $130. I figured it up and if I had to buy it all new it would cost me over $1000. I'm excited about the Thumler's! The press is an RCBS RCII with the auto prime system (which seems totally foreign to me), four sets of dies, a Uniflow measure, 5-10 scale, over 4lbs of powder, 1500 primers, lots of brass (new and fired), nearly 300 bullets, nearly 300 loaded factory rounds (9mm and 38/357) and various other goodies. Needless to say, I'm very happy

I cannot think of a reason why you would not post details on where you got all that stuff. Common man, how about the rest of the story...

Damn & I thought I got a good deal last week when I bought all mine for 488$. Used a lot of the 20$ cabelas spend over 75$ coupons. I think I used 4 or 5 of them in a couple days. Plus my mail in rebates from RCBS.

Well I work with my dad who owns his own appliance repair business. He got a call from a man that used to work for the Forest Service who we have all known for a while. He recently retired so I hadn't seen him for a while. We were in his basement repairing his dryer when I noticed his reloading bench that, as you can tell by the dusty equipment, had not been touched in a while. We were talking about it and he said that he would like to see it go to someone that would put it to use and I gladly told him that I could give it all a good home. To make this long story a little shorter, we traded the repair to his dryer for everything in the picture. The parts came out to $130.

There's nothing like a good deal. :)
And I really liked the old rcbs 5-10 scale.
Just in case it doesn't work, call rcbs and tell them. I had one that was broke and they told me that they did not carry them any more so they sent me a 10-10 in it's place..!!!! ( I did not complain :D )

I also like the old RockChucker press, keep an eye open for the PiggyBack add on to make it a progressive. I don't believe the new piggyback unit will work on the older RC's. But the older ones will.

A fellow reloader friend of mine bought an older RC press used and paid $75, so you got a deal with the additional "stuff".....

You scored but check the powder to see that its still good. Everything else should clean up with a little elbow grease and work fine. Load'em up and enjoy!

Congratulations!

Just remember this great deal the next time you feel crabby and are grumbling to yourself about having to traipse down into somebody's basement to try to get a nearly worn out appliance up and running again. This should be a good enough score to have you whistling while you work for some time to come.

And the old fella' got a real good deal, too.
Lots more than the price of the parts, unless your labor doesn't count for much.
Judging from our last in-house appliance repair, that's considerable.
