CB, BB, and 22 Short can all safely be used in a .22LR revolver, correct? Or does CB and BB not have enough force to make it out a rifled barrel without getting stuck?

Yep - it's the long rifle barrels you have to worry about. Especially if they are 24 inches or more. A "squib" might have a problem making it all the way through.

.22 revolvers are versatile ammo-wise, and I recommend any good quality specimen highly.

I've also shot them from a Mod. 676 H&R Revolver with a 4.5" barrel with no problems. Chronographed some CCI Blazer 22LR out of it at 976 fps and was gonna chrono some 22 shorts, some Aguila subsonic 22LR, some CB's, and some CCI Quiet .22 but when I got to the range I realized the only .22's I brought were the .22 Blazers. Now the rest of them will have to wait until spring. I want to see what kind of velocity some of these mild mannered .22's will give from a 4.5" barrel. All I know for now is that they all shoot well and have had no problems whatsoever. It will be interesting to see what the velocity differences will be.

youll have to remember that any degredation of the shorts or subsonic ammunition will be increased by using it in the longer chamber, and in the revolver period.

That means if the batch of 22 shorts you have is from 1980 and stored in a military warehouse in poland in less then ideal conditions, the resulting erratic chamber pressures may increase the likely hood of squibs.

Noting that this is one of the variables taken fully into account by the makers, further noting that from practical perspectives there aren't any firearms with .22 short chambers and certainly none actually chambered for CB of BB caps.... These cartridges are essentially designed for revolvers (and for bolt action rifles loaded single-shot) as no other actions work well with them. Yeah you can coax them into a semi-auto pistol too... but... revolvers are the right tool.

So: In your revolver, shoot 'em and enjoy without worry.

As for rifles: Millions of these have been shot thru single shot .22 rifles over the last century+, without fanfare. Millions of barn rats and mice have found this out to their immortal dismal in tens of thousands of dairy farms where an old Remington single shot rifle laying in the corner of the barn is the norm. Squibs? What squibs?

I'll note that there may be buildup in the cylinder from the shorter than usual cartridges. This may make it a little difficult to chamber and extract long rifle cartridges the next time. A 6mm or. 243 brush is a good size for scrubbing the cylinder.

Yeah, just clean the cylinder after shooting a bit. It is the same as shooting 38 spl in a 357 mag revolver.

Accidently bought a few boxes of Aguila Colibri- they shoot just fine out of my .22 SP101, and surprisingly close to POA at under, say, 25 ft or so.
