Took delivery of a Navy Arms/ Miroku/ Turnbull 1873 (.45 LC) about two weeks ago. The overall appearance of the piece was gorgeous - it seemed mechanically flawless but the cosmetics/ detail at that price point point was less than acceptable (three small fit/ finish issues that most would not notice but for an anal guy like me). My LGS owner called one or all three of the consortium and I was told that without hesitation, a new replacement rifle was offered/ shipped even prior to the receipt/ review of the first piece - that is all a customer can ask. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of the replacement.

Excellent.

I've been eyeing getting a new Winchester Miroku made 1873 for some time now, but haven't been able to locate one. What is the MSRP for these guns these day? If they made this gun in .32-20 MSRP would not be a factor, I would simply own one no matter what!!!

If Winchester is combining Miroku and Turnbull in one product I can only sit and drool at the possibilities.

Please post some good hi rez pics when it comes in. I'm sure it'll be worth the bandwidth.... :D

Winchester isn't.
Navy Arms has their own hi-grade 73 Miroku version done by Turnbull.

List is $2,500 from Navy Arms - Cabelas is retailing the same gun at list plus $500 - $3,000. I agreed to the Navy Arms list price as my LGS guy said that even at list, there wasn't much left for him - however, he was still $500 cheaper than Cabelas. Thanks.

Good to hear

Good to hear the enthusiasm for anything Mirou. I have a few A-bolts and have been criticized for buying a Japanese rifle. Some people are so blinded by prejudice they can't see the quality.

I have owned a Browning B-92 in .44magnum carbine for 20 years. It's a Miroku made repro and it is top-notch quality.
In fact, I just purchased this past sunday a Winchester 1892 Deluxe takedown in .32-20 that is also a Miroku and it, too, is top quality just like the Browning carbine.
I can't say enough good about Miroku, they make great firearms.

I wish the Marlin 30-30s were made by Miroku. I like premium quality fit and finish.
