Hawks scope

I have a couple of them, a 3-9x40 for a high power spring air rifle (lots of scopes are destroyed on air rifles due to their forward 'recoil'. I was happy with the clarity and features. I recently took a 2-8x32 Zeiss Conquest off my CZ 452 and put a Hawke rimfire scope on it. Obviously there was a drop in clarity, but nothing for the Hawke to be ashamed of (The Zeiss went on a CZ550/in 375 H&H)

Hawkes are all Air rifle rated and all CF rated, warranty is first class and they make up about 80% of UK scope sales and are rated as the best stuff out of China (Its a British company though)

I have Zeiss on all of my Sako's and of all the cheaper stuff I have on other rifles, the Hawke represent the best Bang/buck.

I have an air rifle that destroyed a Leopold in less than 20 shots. My etched reticle Hawke holds up like a champ. Hawke may not have the clearest glass, but nothing is tougher.

+1. I have one on a Benjamin Titan and it is a tank. Very durable, holds zero, relatively accurate adjustments. Optics suck, but that is where the money is.

I have a Hawke HD IR 3-9x40 on my Benjamin Discovery. My other scopes are all mid level stuff like Bushnell elite, or Burris fullfield II, and I was leery of buying a scope with so many extra functions (illuminated reticle, adjustable parallax etc. ) for so much less money, but I was looking for an airgun scope and wanted the shorter parallax settings and stuff. The Hawke had good reviews and fit my budget.
I have to say I am very impressed with the quality. I'm sure it doesn't compare to zeiss or nightforce or any of the big players in clarity but you can easily see .22 caliber holes at 25 yards, and its clear from edge to edge with no noticeable distortion. Its more than good enough for hunting small game or infrormal target shooting.

Centerfire scopes usually aren't built for use on airguns.

Edit: You're correct about Leupolds readyeddy, my mistake.
