Ok guys I have a glock 19 I have openly carried it in the past but know I want to carry it concealed all day every day so with that in mind any recommendations thanks horsemen61

I have both a Kydex and Don Hume bra holster for OWB carry and when I had my G32 before it went KABOOM I carried this way almost exclusively.

Safariland TS7, holsters .....

In general(CCW), I'd look into the new Safariland TS7 holsters.
The new material works well in all climates, weather conditions, it's easy to clean, light weight, durable.
You can get a TS7 holster with different types of retention. It can fit different widths of men's belts & comes in black or FDE brown. Prices vary but most CCW TS7 holsters retail from $25.00 to $80.00 depending on the features.
If synthetic holsters don't appeal to you, there are many great CCW rigs for Glock 19 9mm pistols. Top end brands like Wright Leather Works(the Predator), Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen, Don Hume, Kirkpatrick Leather, Mernickle, High Noon Holsters, Kramer, Alessi, Aker, Galco.
Some armed professionals & federal agents like horsehide or exotics for better wear/longevity.
Prices can be high for well known holsters & wait times may be months depending on the maker/demands.

There are a # of Kydex holsters & makers out there now. Youtube's PhillyEDC offers reviews/T&Es of holsters. He makes & markets Kydex holsters so he knows what styles or designs customers want. Makers & hobbyists send him rigs to evaluate.
For Kydex I'd look at Redstone Concealment of AL, Black Rhino Concealment, T Rex Arms, High Noon Holsters, Hodges Custom Kydex, G Code.
Note; some Kydex holster makers offer designs with or without sweat guards or body-shields of different sizes(low-mid-high). Depending on your carry uses or choices you may or may not want a body-shield. I prefer no/low styles for Kydex holsters. I see the merit of a shield but would want unrestricted/quick access to my weapon. Sweat guards/shield protect the weapon from sweat, grit, loose fabric maybe but I can take the trade-off.
Some holsters offer different cants/angles. I used to carry pistols at the FBI angle or with a 10-15% forward cant. Now, as I'm older(bigger :D ), the straight carry angle or standard format meets my needs. I sometimes use my SERPAs or other secured holsters at a canted crossdraw angle(office jobs, long car trips, etc). Modular polymer holsters or Kydex styles can help if you carry concealed different ways with the same model firearm.

PS: if you buy a polymer or Kydex holster bear in mind they still need an occasional check or cleaning. Screws/parts or plastic bits can break or get loose.
There are several care-cleaning videos for CCW or Kydex holsters online.

My taste for CCW holsters because my physique has changed. It depends on your needs, your body and the climate you live in. No that I'm older and fatter, I find IWB holsters less comfortable than I did some years ago. With that said there are many excellent options for OWB carry. I even have a crossdraw holster specifically set-up for use in the car when driving longer distances. I've always been a big fan of leather for comfort and fit. The finishes on today's firearms are very forgiving and are not affected much when in prolonged contact with leather. Whatever you decide, buy a quality holster!

Always hear about the ol' box o' holsters, but I started with a Galco King Tuk (and really didn't expect to stick with it), but I carried a G19 for two years in that holster and never had any problems. I'll take it a step further and say I've actively sought out the same holster for other guns since that first one.

It's an inexpensive alternative for the usual leather/kydex abominations put out by Crossbreed, CompTac, et al. While I never tried any of those higher-end models, I think that's just another positive thing about the Galco version - I never felt the need to look for something different. It's a solid holster.

I like the De Santis Speed Scabbard and have one for every gun I routinely carry. They are going for $48 on Amazon. I like the version without the thumb break. I've used these holsters as a plainclothes LEO and for CCW since the middle 80s and found them secure even without the thumb break. I still use the first one I got for a j frame. They are very durable.

Good choice on the G19 BTW. Best all around 9mm made IMO.

My new gold standard for concealed carry is the Milt Sparks Criterion. It is slightly less comfortable than the VMII because all of the reinforcement is between the belt and body, but it makes the gun much more concealable. Here is it shown with my G30. I should have one for the G19 within a couple of weeks.

I'm with rc. The one that came with the pistol works just fine for me. Although I also have a no name paddle holster that I like if I will be needing to take it on and off, say in multiple errands to in and out of government buildings with screening.

In fact, I ordered a Glock holster for my 20 because I bought the pistol used and it didn't come with one.

Another vote for the Milt Sparks Criterion! It makes a Glock 21 carry much better and has tons of forward cant.

I also love the DeSantis Cozy Partner. It has lots of forward can't for concealability and is very comfortable. However, it will collapse when wet from sweat, so it is not a good candidate for training classes. This does not matter for carry since you will pull the gun out fast and holster at your leisure. I am migrating to the Criterion for all my IWB holsters, however.

Here is my modified Criterion (with Blade-Tech rubber strap for extra cant):
