Picked this up recently from a local "gun for sale" board.

Model 15-2...Target hammer, trigger, trigger stop, diamond target stocks.

It was those diamond targets that did it. If it had been decently clad in Magna's, I would have been able to resist it. ;)

"shamelessly showing off

You've been doing that a lot lately. Nice looking revolver, the 38 Special is all you need in a 36 caliber revolver and the M15 is all you need in a 38 Special revolver.

Nice find! Even if it had aftermarket grips I still wouldn't have been able to resist.

I've got a 15-3 I zeroed at twelve yards

It's a heck of shooter. It convinced me to not bother with model 10s and simply get Model 15s if I'm in the mood for a strict .38, it's the only .38 I own.

K frames have become my favorite.

Sadly, like all my hobbies - I'm a day late and a couple hundred dollars short of the days when it was affordable, lol.

What a hideous piece of crap.........;):)

That's my way of trying to convince myself to not be jealous. Congrats man!

I nabbed one at the flea market a couple weeks ago. Mine is nickel, with Herrett custom target grips, and it was "flea market priced". It shoots as well as my other S&Ws, too.
I do love those classic good looks, and the feel, of a K frame.

I'm constantly torn between which I like best. The Model 15 or the 19. Since I almost never shoot .357 ammo, it's a tough call.

I think the Model 15 edges the 19 for me because it's a lighter, trimmer gun. The more tapered barrel, lack of an ejector rod shroud, and slightly shorter cylinder just make a slightly nicer handling gun.

Catch me next week and I might have changed my mind. :D

I was thinking about buying it also . I am glad you removed the temptation , nice S&W .

I need to get more on the ball and make a find like that.

Instead I am working during the day, can I retire at 48 years old? Work is getting in the way of my hobbies.

Nice revolver.
